not sure but prime 100 probably means getting 25 on all classes in prime mode.

 

yup, get to level 25 with all classes. activate prime mode. then all classes reset to 0. then you need to level up to 25 all over again. reaching 100 with a single class sounds like its going to take a year

 

So with Prime mode you can reach 100?

 

really???? HMS did that again, resetting all the classes after hitting Prime???
:/ it was already bad enough doing that all over again to max all of your classes out. i thought with FOC, HMS would have the sense to not have the classes reset to 0 once reaching the max for all classes. man the more i get to know this game, basically my grade for it right now is a B+.... :/ starting to think War for Cybertron is superior... if WFC only had host migration, had a customization the same as in FOC, and if HMS did something with the cheaters and hackers in that game, there's no doubt in my mind WFC is the more superior game. only things i pretty much liked with FOC as i continue to play it:

1. The scientist's Photon Burst Rifle.
2. Host migration.
3. Cuztomization ("Create your own Transformer")..
4. The graphics and the maps in general.

and, oh, and to top it off, aside from getting the MP parts for customization, other than that there really are no bonus rewards after maxing out your classes, and no bonus rewards after you max them all out again? so really what's the incentive hitting Prime Mode? so you can have dinosaur and insect heads for your customized characters?

 

Better than getting just a tiny matrix next to your name.

 

i'll give you that. but still, considering they pretty much already axed what made WFC Multiplayer a much more fun experience with killstreaks, multiple robot abilities, vehicle abilities, and the like, i was hoping a little bit of more... :/ just feel this game has gotten slower compared to the fast-pace of WFC. i'm starting to feel a Modern Warfare feel to it only with robots.

 

What does leveling to 100 do? Is it just for prestige?

The photon burst rifle for example at level 25 becomes Full Auto and that is the highest level perk you can get as a scientist. Then there is the orbital pistol having armor reduction (which is freakin kick ass!). That pistol already owns it up as is, the assault rifle with recoil reduction is what I am using right now until I get to level 25 for the photon burst rifle's full auto perk.

Far as the comparison to WOC and FOC, I never did play WOC but I really like the Scientist in this game. You literatly are playing Starscream without the cloak & 4 missles (ok and barrel roll, the speed of his jet, man he owns).

 

If you'll remember, WFC had achievements for getting a CUMULATIVE level across all four classes. Odds are "Prime 25" means get to prime and reach a total level 25 and "Prime 100" is when all four classes are at 25 again making your total rank 100 again.

 

When you hit Prime, do you lose all your weapons and abilities and have to reclaim them again?

I don't feel that FOC is slower than WFC. I feel it is more team oriented. Most classes have trouble alone, but put any two classes together or just two competent players together and things go far more smoothly. I see it in TDM all the time. The team with four players sticking together wins (unless they are all clueless) because the other team keeps attacking one at a time.

Prime 100 is just for all four classes at 25, most likely.

Quick question for those who have reached Prime mode, what happens to all your customization parts and Teletraan challenges? Since they don't affect gameplay do they stay or do they get reset too?

 

All upgrades, level-unlocked weapons, and secondary abilities are lost. I haven't reached Prime Mode, but I would assume your character design remains intact.

 

no, challenge progress and character design goes away too. at least the challenges give xp

no, that's still unlocked  

saw a guy online today that had all characters at level 25 and is in prime mode. so maybe it is true i don't need to grind a single character to 100
