Why did Primal and Megatron Claim they did when Megs was tied to the back of the Axalon pod? He escaped which is why he took over Cybertron? Good thing Dinobot didn't come back to life, he wouldn't have like that?

 

Yes, Megatron won the Beast Wars, so far as his goal was the domination of Cybertron. His intention was always to make the Predacons the rightful rulers of Cybertron, which he accomplished. He just did it in the worst way possible, by eliminating all the other Cybertronians, Maximal and Predacon alike, and removing their Sparks.

 

I'd say Megatron won; however looking at how Megatron treated everyone on Cybertron, I'd say the Predacons definitely lost...

 

I look at it as the Maximals won the Beast Wars on Earth. But found that they had already lost the big one when they returned to Cybertron. But they eventually won that one too. (if you count the total reformating of Cybertron as a win.)

 

The Beast Wars took place completely on Earth. Since all the Preds were dead or captured (besides Waspinator, but he hardly counts), I'd say the Maximals won the Beast Wars. As far as what happened on Cybertron, that's a totally different war, whatever you'd call it though.

 

I wish the Preds had won. I hate the grass covered Cybertron.

And I agree. Cybertron at the end of BM was pretty, but lame, and totally defeated the purpose of having a totally mechanical world of completely sentient (and mechanical) machines, didn't it? Besides, it didn't look very techno-organic to me.

 

Not to nit pick but that "Pod" did not come from the Axalon........it came from The Ark.

 

When you think about it, Megatron was never a Predicon. He was a Decepticon through and through.

No, he was a Pred. Predacons are the Decepticons' decendants, so while they're one in the same (almost), Megatron (BW) was never a Decepticon. He fought for the Decepticon liberty, but only because doing so directly affected the Predacons.

 

My personal opinion, the Maximals won the war and Megatron got his goal of taking over Cybertron.

 

That would make the perfect new Chia Cybertron. Ch-Ch-Chia Primus! The perfect gift for any techno-organic lover. 

On a related note, if going by the Mainframe show only, the Maxies won the war on Earth, but like the others said, BW Megs won it on Cybertron via mass genocide.
