Oh yeah Lasebeak also killed Franz Ferdinand and framed Gavrilo Princip for it. THE CONS CAUSED WORLD WAR I! Oh and Hitler was a pretender! HELL YEAH! Seriously am I the only one who's tired of this whole "transformers have deep tie-ins and conecton to Earth" in recent TF ficton? I liked it better when it was just that they crash-landed here by accident... (you're a stinking gewunner comments in 3...2...1...)
I don't hate this, but I do think it’s overstayed its welcome. I'm hoping the events in the next film actually start in the film, and are not part of some thousand-year-old master plan.
In the first movie it was cool in a MIB conspiracy theory kinda way. In ROTF is was dumb but in a cheesy 80's way dumb. I remember hearing about it and just going "The pyramids? Really? I mean...really? Everybody's done that shit come on!" And in DOTM it was just pain stupid... Also it's annoying in Prime as well. Unicorn being eath I can cope with, but the whole "a cybertronian junk has been found let's fight over it" thing it had going on for some time almost made drop the show.
Why wouldn't they find Cybertronian artifacts on a planet where Autobots and Decepticons have been fighting for years?
Correction: It would've been a bad idea all around. People have voiced discomfort over the whole Chernobyl thing. You throw in JFK and there's gonna be some pissed off puppies. Bay can film mindlessness, but he doesn't suffer from it himself. People can dog the man out all they want, but he has limits. So did Kruger when he wrote the story.
Amelia Earhart shouldn't have gotten angry and punched the dashboard of her plane. It didn't like that.
i Love the tfs or tfs related items having been involved in real life events, thats one of the reasons i LOVE Bayformers
I agree. I like the ideas of conspiracies in a transformers movie. To me, the ancient alien stuff in ROTF and the Apollo conspiracy in DOTM drew me into the movie more. I like to think whether that could have happened that way or not.
