Did optimus confirmed the death,by humans, of the other bots (sideswipe, dino...etc.) when he asked: how many more of my kind have to be sacrificed? What do guys think. Excuse my spelling...
The line seems to hint that he has lost a lot of Autobots since DOTM - whether by humans or decepticons attacking them. Every non-returning character was likely killed either during the DOTM battle (Dino was killed in the battle in the adaption so he's pretty dead) or after. Sideswipe, Leadfoot and Ratchet are likely casualties we'll see in AOE as they've either been seen on set or their voice actor confirmed they would return.
He... basically allowed his entire world to die (or was culpable in it's death) for the sake of earth and humanity, so yeah, he knows from sacrifice I guess.
I'm sure that the Bots that are not in this movie were killed by the humans. Or, less likely, they died from injuries from Chicago (Mirage) and/or left Earth.
Given the humans have been going to town on Decepticons for years, and have basically never dealt with the Autobots in good faith, why are you so sure?
a reminder that Andre Sogullizo didn't come back. Maybe Sideswipe gets a new VA each movie....assuming he's actually in this.
If Swipe shows up, I believe it will be in a scene just as Barricade did in DOTM. Only in robot mode and won't be shown in his car mode. Unless he like Bee and OP took on a totally new Alt mode.
Is he even talking about the humans hunting them???? He may be just referring to the fact that since they first came here to save our asses from megs and his cronies.....he has steadily lost good men in the fight......sounds to me like he is thinking sh*t why did i even poke my nose in and get involved with these turncoats !!
i don't believe we ever saw dino die in the movie.. and i also don't believe any of the other media, like books or comics have any baring on the movies. i could be wrong, but i believe that's how it works.
