Afraid not, he came packaged just with the robot, but he did have a Targetmaster that the Japanese version never came with. It's supposed to be Firebolt but they called him "Offshoot"

By all accounts, the trailer on the Takara version was yet another QC nail in the coffin, as sliding Rod in and out would scrape paint off the spoiler. This might have been part of the reason Hasbro didn't bother, but more likely it was that it would make an overly heavy, expensive and oversized toy for the western market. Or both.

Alright thanks! I'll wait and see if they have a Rodimus Prime in CHUG scale soon then.

No he didn't. Job done! Now 'like' my post.

    ;)

As to the QC on Takara trailer... it's true every single trailer scratched the yellow spoiler. It was easily fixable (just sand down the inside of the trailer opening a little bit with a nail file or something) which somehow makes it 'ok'. I still maintain MP-9 is the definitive 3P experience, dodgey QC you had to repair yourself out the box and even though it's totally unacceptable you still force yourself to think it's OK because it's beautiful. Beautiful and hugely fragile... see? Definitive 3P.
