Did Combiner Wars Kill your interest in TF4's Toys?
3. No, TF4 was already dead
The combiners aren't out until next year. How would they affect the AoE toys now?
No. The line started kind of sadly to start with, unfortunately.
No, i still want stinger
No. TF4's toys killed my interest in TF4's toys. Dinobots, Hound, Drift, Crosshairs, Stinger if they do him, and that's me done.
No. I only need to still get Hound, Crosshairs, and Lockdown. Then I'm done with the TF4 line.
never had an interest in tf 4 in any regard, movie, toys or anything .....
The answer is no...but only because I wasn't all that enamored of TF4 to begin with! You can't kill something that never existed.
I bought a voyager hound, but otherwise the TF4 line was of little interest to me. if Evasion Optimus had a single release with faceplate and NOT blue arms, I would have grabbed that as well.
I welcome new toys, because the movie line was lame.
"TF4 was already dead"
Neither the toyline nor the movie itself managed to sell me on anything and the line is clearly on its way out before the year's end even without Combiner Wars happening.
No. If they had come out with another wave I would have happily looked over what they were producing. but am I sad it is ending? Not at all... better the line go now, with us getting every major character, then drag on with repaints for months on end.
My purchase of TF movie toys reach a new low this year.... which is ZERO. Although evasion mode prime is still nudging at my pocket to awaken my wallet, i'm still resisting. I'll be looking forward to MPs and 2015 for rejuvenated interests.
TF4 toys aren't so bad (compared to Revenge of the Fallen). I kind of like the way the toys seem to exist oblivious of the actual movie. I went into the movie expecting more (based on the toyline) and found the two to be largely independent of each other (even the toy designs don't adhere to the movie version).
I was really hoping the movies would make the dinobots popular again so that we might get some new G1 dinos... but I guess we have 3P for that?
I hear you guys! It's like, once you've bought the 4 out of the 5 available toys, you're, like, completely done!
Where is the option for "No, they killed my interest in the 2015 Generations line?"
There's not even that much stuff to collect in AOE even with construct bots, kreo, and one step changers thrown in.
Other than assembling the whole cast of autobots with dinobots. That kind of is all a display of these guys is going to be. The set piece of everything is not nearly as imaginative as beast hunters which depicted cybertronian dragons and the war between autobots and decepticons in full augmented force. AOE has cool ideas, but its kind of novelty if the fiction is unsupported.
The combiners are very promising looking generations toys that evoke power and enforce a collect them all to build play pattern.
Oh yeah. That plus the lack of a proper Lockdown. All I want now is the Autobots United 5 pack and I'm done.
Honestly, it kinda killed a good amount of interest in Generations for me.
I know damn well I'll never be able to get all of a single team, and it doesn't help that they're two teams I never cared all that much for.
But I'll be damned if I'm not gonna try to buy 'em all.
No, this movie line has given me more robots with beast modes. If anything, I'm more bummed out about the upcoming combiners. I much rather had seen the Seacons or a good Terrorcon update instead of more cars and jets.
Nah. I feel the TF4 line did itself in long ago, but I'm still looking for a few figures from the line.
I said no because even though I grew up with G1, I have zero interest in updated versions of figures I already had, simple as that, although I totally understand the appeal and the excitement that goes with the new combiners that were revealed.
And my interest with AOE still remains because of the PE box sets waiting to come out as well as a few others.
