Did Buzzsaw actually defeat Omega Supreme?

    I don't have access to the original Marvel comics run and all I've seen is a scan of Buzzsaw "cannon blast[ing] Omega Supreme". Buzzsaw is shown blasting Omega and Omega is at an angle but I've never seen the aftermath showing definitively that Omega went offline as a result of Buzzsaw's attack. I'm just curious if Buzzsaw really single-handedly took down the guy who nearly wiped out the Decepticon forces in a few pages his first appearance.

    I know generally new characters are hyped their first appearance and lose significance or get downplayed as their toys fade away, but still the idea that Buzzsaw one-shots Omega Supreme... has to be one of the biggest outliers in TF fiction.

    If it was ever actually shown that Omega Supreme was KO'ed could someone provide a scan?

    Yes, he did. However scans and other such media is generally frowned upon as that borders on piracy and whatnot.

    I'm not asking for a zip file with the whole comic in it, just one frame confirming something in a 20+ year old comic.

    I mean, shit, could you at least describe the picture? =/

    I'm just curious because this scene here shows Omega being hit-

    Yet the TFWIKI merely says he "seems to be falling over". That's all it says. So this frame would appear to be all that's shown rather than a real defeat in a later frame. And the next appearance listed is Omega fully functional getting deactivated by Underbase Starscream.

    So I'm led to believe he survives Buzzsaw's attack unscathed more or less. So if you can at least confirm more than that I'd appreciate it.

    Sure. Bill Goldbird flies in, goes all Dr. Octogonapus on ol' rocket arms, screams "WHO'S NEXT?!?!!!11!", then flies off again. Buzzsaw-1, Omega Supreme-0.

    That frame is all there is. Omega is fine for the rest of the issue...where he clocks Starscream with a building, then shoots him, then gets killed in one shot back (Starscream was super-powered at the time).

    However, in context, the panel was part of a montage of images of Decepticons ambushing and defeating Autobots. And it's pretty clear Omega is going down to a cassette..which is funny!
