about the AOE toys after watching the movie. I originally was planning to skip the toys for this movie, but after watching it, I suddenly had the urge to get them all. I bought all the voyagers, leader OP and the dinobot deluxes. I skipped the deluxe cars, since I am hoping some of them to come out as voyagers/leaders!!
LOL. I think that's the point of the movie. I have noticed considerable interest in Galvatron's toy, especially since his Voygaer toy was criticized for being terrible. I just added some paint on mine and it looks better.
I originally planned on skipping the movie toys...but..I picked up Drift today since Walmart has deluxes at $9.97 now. I also want voyager Galvatron to customize in movie accurate colors after seeing some posted in the radicon customs section
On the contrary. I wanted to buy less toys after seeing the movie. The dinobot toys don't do their movie counterparts justice.
I think the custom potential is there, I've some some amazing dinobots posted in the customs section but I get what you're saying
Heck yea, I'm aiming to get that awesome Platinum set in the future instead of just hunting all of them down. They look really great with that premium paint.
I think more people want that Galvatron now since its plainly obvious that it would be impossible to give that toy a screen-accurate transformation that doesn't involve the use of a wood chipper.
No change for me personally. I've been excited for the toys before I saw the movie, but have always kept my enthusiasm at bay (<---- ha!) because I know I won't enjoy all of the toys from the toy line. I still plan on getting the characters that appeared on the screen as toys, everything else is a maybe. I remember for ROTF I had the opposite effect, funny enough. I bought so many toys before seeing the movie ... then wanted to fucking stomp on them after seeing it.
Really glad that I got Hound but disappointed he isn't loaded with pouches and gear like in the movie. I really want a Lockdown toy but the deluxe is awful.
Yeah, I want Galvatron so bad now. I think I'm going to get both deluxe and Flip and Change Lockdown too, because I like his character so much.
No, I just said I wasn't getting into this movie they look great but I can't open that dinobot door with all the generations coming out.
Hound's voyager toy does not do justice to him. I wonder is there a possibility of getting a Leader version of him at some point down the road?
I'm slightly more interested in Helicopter Drift. That's about it. Scorn, Slug, Strafe, and Voyager Grimlock were purchased beforehand and I didn't care how they were portrayed, just like I'll pick up Snarl and Slog. The movie didn't do anything to develop them anyway, so I enjoy them the same as I did before.
I only feel bad for Hasbro's designers that get stuck with designing figures with Bay's shit transformation scenes for characters.
Less interested in the Autobots/Dinos, more interest in the Decepticons. Though I am holding out hope for a Galvi with better paint apps.
