Did all the autobots loose faith in us?

So by now we know Optimus Prime loses faith in humans. However would that cause all the autobots to do so? At the end of DOTM we have 8 autobots left (Optimus, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Dino, leadfoot, topspin, roadbuster and bumblebee)

Optimus we know loses faith in us. Ratchet is one of Optimus Primes oldest friend which may cause him to lose faith too and let's not forget he wanted to leave in ROTF. We still don't know if sideswipe and Dino are returning but they may be killed off so we may never know if they lost faith in humans. From the wreckers we only know that Leadfoot may return but the wreckers didn't really seem to like Humans in DOTM. So leadfoot may not really care about having faith in humans but we did see him with the 67 camaro which brings us to the last autobot Bumblebee. Bumblebee has always been the autobot closer to the humans so I couldn't see him losing faith. Bee could actually be trying to restore an alliance with humans with the help from leadfoot or other autobots.

So how do you gain the humans "trust"? Well you give them something they always wanted. Since ROTF humans have wanted transformers to share their technology with them but Optimus didn't because we would use it for war. So maybe Bee shares their technology with humans (Joshua) which helps them build Stinger. Of course once stinger is built the humans use it to show how weak Bee is. So basically Bee is humiliated and betrayed which leads him to begin to not trust humans so easily until he meets Cade, Shane and Tessa.

Hmm.... good post. I think Ratchet may not have lost faith, otherwise he would most likely fight back when he's getting slaughtered. As for the rest of the bots, I think you're right so far! :)

I think ALL of the Bots are now very leery of humans. I'm still hoping Swipe and Dino said "frag it" and left the planet.

so as Ratchet is being killed, he never lost faith that humans would do the right thing?

Not even after maybe the 3rd time he got shot, he never even for a moment lost a little bit of faith?

I've said before how's it's amazing that Prime has stayed quite staunch and positive through however many 1000s of years of civil war, but less than 10 years on earth sends him tumbling into deep depression!!

I'd hope so eventually. There is only so much open hostility you can tolerate before Good becomes Stupid Good.
Considering humans likely gunned down Ratchet, Dino, Sideswipe, Topspin, Roadbuster and Leadfoot after saving the planet it'd be pretty damn naive of Prime not to lose faith.

Sorry about hiding Megatron and the Allspark. Sorry about not dealing with Megatron properly or guarding what was left of the Allspark. Sorry for the whole kicking you off the planet out of fear thing. Sorry for the whole almost extinction of your race thing.

Frankly at this point if the reaction to approaching humans isn't shoot to kill then we can assume Transformers have very little in the way of self-preservation. I mean hell, theres 6 billion plus of them, its worth shooting a few to ensure the survival of a race with potentially less than a dozen left.

No doubt Bumblebee is going to be going around trying to convince the others humans are still good.

    Cheery little bastard.

Bumblebee is a positive individual, but he's not the always smiling, goody two shows member of the Autobots. He's seen the worst of the war, but his experiences with Sam, Carly, Lennox, and the rest convinced him of the good in humans. He's willing to draw on them, but he never lost complete faith.

Ratchet didn't either. He's too nice and sweet a guy to do so. He's most likely fighting in self-defense, and is willing to die for his belief that the humans are ultimately good. I'm sure he's really hurt by the betrayal, but nevertheless he's kinda like Hershel from The Walking Dead. Willing to die as long as his friends are able to outlive him and fight another day. Hershel showed almost no fear when the Governor pulled the sword on him, and still died happy knowing Rick would be okay and there's good in everyone, even their enemies. Ratchet is the same way. He's a very self-sacrificing person, much like Hershel. Maybe in the film he's just trying to distract Attinger's men from the other Autobots? I'm thinking it'll especially be Ratchet's death that hurts Optimus, though it's unlikely any specific mention of Ratchet will happen.

Sideswipe and Dino probably did lose hope and possibly were hunted down and killed too. Nelson already said they won't be in AOE. I'll be surprised if we even see them. The Wreckers may be assholes, but they themselves said they wouldn't abandon humanity. They seem to be good blokes deep down, so they may or may not have lost faith. It's arguable with those guys.

    Good points here.
If Dino and Sideswipe are shown only to be killed I'd rather they don't show up at all.
