Interesting, that much mean a TF Comic every week in December, unless the double up with Rage Of The Dino Bots or Spotlight Orion Pax.

December 26th has only a small number of comics from the big publishers coming out that day due to the holidays, so Spotlight: Orion Pax is currently scheduled for the 12th with MTMTE #12 and RiD #12.

BAD187, you and I are on the same page. Loved War Within and Megatron: Origin.

For the newer series, the Last Stand of the Wreckers (and the ongoing where it uses the same team, including a lot of MTMTE) is good and often gritty.

If you enjoyed the G1 Marvel, you'll enjoy Regeneration. It's a fun retro trip, though I definitely see it as its own timeline/universe.

You should thumb through the Autonomy series for style. It's very painterly and dark. If you like that art, there are some sections of the RID series that use the same artist. I liked those, though they get mixed reviews from fans. (Same with the GI Joe crossover that's painterly. Seems like people freak out when it's not bright, sunny-day color like the cartoons.)

thanx, ill try the regeneration comics. i did like the uk marvel comics, collected those long ago. they had some great but also some really shitty chapters. some of the later chapters had really good art in them, like the thunderwing chapters that featured pretenders (mainly grim, jazz and bumble).
