So I wonder (bit off topic) but are the Dinobots branded as Mech Fans toys in gold accents with a pilot going to be cheaper or the same price than the ones branded as Machine Boy that are DX9 like "animation" colours.

I expect they are the same mould as they are the same company just using different brand names - though oddly at the recent chinese event they had seperate stalls.

Makes me wonder if they might sell a Gun robo colour Megatron and give him a figure of some sort too. But wouldn't it need to be bigger ?

I just received MF-23 Slurdge; here's a quick shot of the bonus Dianaut pack-in:
(Frankensteined Takara Dianaut on the left, MechFansToys on the right. Both are a bit lighter IRL, the difference in shade is noticeable on the MFT version, which is also a little softer on the details. Joints are nice and tight; I'm a Reboot fan so it doesn't hurt my feelings to get extra Dianauts.

Still waiting for the post office to cough-up my Diaclone-colors Hulkie with mech suit.)

So is Machine Boy their lower end ko name? I had the old machine boy Starscream which was great, but the Prime was very much ko quality. Very thin, stress and sprue marks all over. The Mechfanstoys figures I have are all very strong, heavy and sturdy plastic.
And we need a troop pack set for all these mech suits they are making!

It appears to be their own original design unless it ends up being an unannounced design from one of the other companies that somehow MFT got ahold of and released before the other company announced it.
