Damn those are pretty. How do the Dianauts fit in them?

I figure being 1/48 they should fit pretty easily.

Some ATs like the Scopedogs require either you disassemble and remove the handlebars or permanently remove the seat altogether.

The dianauts seem to fit the vehicles fine without mods though.

    Actic gear is by TakaraTomy

But Bandai did make a few 1/48ish ATs under their Super Minipla line. They can be piloted by the larger Microwars pilots so Dianauts aren't a problem. Downside is that they aren't as detailed as Actic Gear and is missing all the gimmicks like the turning spike and extending punch. You also have to swap out the legs for the folded maintenance mode.

I'm going to open one Fatty later. I'll take some pictures to show a 1/60 scale pilot inside. I don't recall the Actic Gear Votoms Fatty unit requiring any modifications to fit a Dianaut. I'm 90%+ sure that's the case because I bought the Fatty for that reason (Diaclone compatability) and saw pictures of the unit with a Dianaut inside before purchasing.

Yeah Fatty has a more spacious cockpit and doesn't have the handlebars.

    Look at those beauties

That's a solid 8 out of 10 toy combination there. I can't wait to pair mine up with the VSO1 "Starcraft inspired" power suits.

    Please post your knowledge here:
1/60 scale compatible toys & toylines (MFT, RiHio, Diaclone etc.)

It's time guys. There are many old and new Dianaut , RiHio , E-Monster , etc. 1/60 scale action figure compatible model and toy lines that aren't Takara KO's. They'll get buried in this thread if they aren't given their own so i made one. Please share your knowledge and findings in that thread so we can archive things compatible with our 1/60 scale figures. I'll be posting things from decades past and whatever i come across that's new.

Stupid question time: have we discussed SnapShips as being DiaNaut-compatible?

There are no stupid questions, but yes. I made a post about it just the other day, in fact: Snap Ships and 1/60 figures.

Somehow got into my head that each squad comprises of 3 mechs.

Hey all. I figured this is the best thread to ask, since its the KO thread. I am looking to get some more of the KO Waruder suits, and was wondering if anyone wanted to sell, or trade any extras they may have. Maybe you over bought, or don't need as many as you thought, and want to unload some?

I am looking for any colors, and any quantities. The cathode green and purple, red and blue sting and fling, whichever ones. If they are loose, opened, used, new, whatever. I only care that they are complete, and not broken, of course.

I have a decent amount of the official TT versions, but i wanted to supplement and create a HUGE combined monstrosity, and the only way would be getting some KOs, that are cost effective. If anybody can help, and would like to sell ANY of their Waruder suits, please PM me. Thanks in advance

I don't have any other sources than the ones you mentioned. The Optimus and Megatron suits have not been released yet.

    Like Suntzu828 mentioned: Aliexpress

But do your searches using "Lost Planet" and MFT, you'll probably have more luck. (same on eBay)

Got the Emonster EM-03 (Commander unit) and EM-04 (Ant Queen) in today.

    Quick rundown:
    • Nice complement to the Diaclone sets
    • The mini-figs are done quite well. With pack-in with the Ant Queen having an attached gun to his right arm. No magnets on the feet though and I can foresee some instances where the gun will be hard to fit into the smaller suits.
    • EM-03 is the size of the 2nd gen Diaclone powered suits and comes with some nice accessories which the instructions say can be swapped around between units. Some parts (e.g. the backpack) has interlinked mechanism which pushes out the jetpack when the flap is raised. Pretty impressive for something so small.
    • QC-wise they will have to improve. The plastic feels cheap and squeaky (more like model kits than the ABS plastics used by TTM). The connector joint on my EM-04 unit foreleg came off - it seems to be attached with just a film of light glue.
    • Quite a lot of customisations can be done by taking off armor parts and reattaching different configurations. The cockpit for EM-04 even has a second alternate seat. But given the lousy plastic quality I’m hesitant to experiment. Edit* the inner robot actually can be stripped down to its core and I’m surprised to see another set of arms underneath. Quite ingenious engineering.*
    • Overall a nice set for the price ($20 for EM-03 and $30 for EM-04 shipped). Will look forward to EM-05.

Got EM01 (Warthog) and EM02 (Sparrow Hawk) for around USD16 each shipped. Quick thoughts below:

    • Quality of mini pilot is excellent. EM01 even comes with a detachable backpack for the pilot.
    • Articulation and plastic for the powered suits are excellent - on par with the usual Diaclone / MFT units
    • Not really digging the head for EM02 - feels a bit basic and reminiscent of the droids in Star Wars. Nice body though with some peg holes for the grenade and ammo.
    • In terms of accessories, EM01 comes with an assault rifle, baton (actually a sheath for a combat knife), handgun and ammo all which can be clipped on the various pegs on the suit.
    • EM02 comes with a suitcase, grenade, ammo and a sniper rifle. The suitcase can fit the dissembled sniper rifle, handgun and grenade. Unfortunately the sniper rifle can’t be held in the proper sniping position by the suit due to the angle of the handle and the rifle butt.
    • Can’t complain for the price which I paid. Will get another 2 warthogs to pad out the team. These can be the mercenaries team/ security contractors which watch over installations that is outside the bureaucratic red tape of the Diaclone world.

IIRC the GFL 02 comes with x2 as it has 1 apiece on each of the two sprues of adaptors it comes with?

Those E-Monster sets seem pretty complementary to the MFT Space series mech and better value for money over all too than they are.

I which KLJ could pursuade MFt to include some extra raid containers of the larger size with one of their releases for those time you get the mech without one. Or maybe they can produce a run of just containers and sell them in a set like with the figures (which I also hope get made again too) as the official ones are super super expensive.
