So does VP-01 actually include two of the big blocky gun platforms that turn into Big Powered's feet or just one? Because needing to spend $160 on just the legs for their KO of Big Powered is a bit too far for me and I've yet to see any sign of there being two of them.

 

Maybe they want to include the second electro artillery foot as a pack item in another product to keep folks inter-vested? Beats me

i love the dialcone accessories but i have no hanger to put any of them...i really need to get going on finding one or building one.

 

My postal carrier came through today with my GFLs. I picked up another mech that was limited in production. Love the centipede tampo they gave him and the purple arms are classy as hell.

VP-01 looks pretty fun. Is it made up of all KOed parts? I don't know much about the Diaclone Reboot line, but I didn't see the truck cab of VP-01 in pictures of Big Powered. Is KOed from a different set, or is VP-01 a mix of original and KOed parts?

 

As it seems to contain hitches on both containers then shouldn't it be possible to haul 4 containers instead of 2 (including official ones)?
I'm keen to see how people who have various offical pieces find ways to combine this toy with the official ones too - such as in vehicle mode combinations too.

If they ever repaint this - I can see the logical choice being Black - with SAT branding - but i'd not rule out a random green or sand one either perhaps - since they have some new releases due that are sand or green that would match. But I think Police SWAT would make the most logical repaint and it would also work the nicest with established official colours too.

Yeah the truck mode is based on one from a movie - it uses some new pieces and some bits of Big Powered other releases with copy other parts to make a large robot similar to Big Powered but released in bits.

Just amazing work!

I did my first base/building with foam board, and with fried chicken containers from the groceries. A couple of metal frames (as in picture frames) from a crafts store for metal floors for the magnets in the feet, some clay for the seats, and printouts... and for the lights, these are the "Christmas" tiny led lights (that uses A batteries)... a pain to set up, lots of hot glue, but I like the look that all the wires end up giving it.

My second building I haven't taken pictures yet as I don't consider it fully completed yet, but it's more a living quarters and research lab type.

I tend to always be on the lookout for anything that looks useable....

But I've been concentrating on my comic (link in my signature).. and reusing some pieces for the scenes I've been creating.

i think you posted pics of this before and this is the route i was thinking of going. the tape base was going to be my inspiration for some kind of hanger. i still have an old box of VHS tapes i just need to get around to planning it out and doing it.

i'd need to figure out extras like ladders and what not to fill it out

 

Less than ebay but you loose the savings in the increased shipping price they have right now unfortunately   I messaged HZJ the other day and he said he should be getting it in sometime this week. I keep checking every day as I'm definitely excited to get mine ordered.

 

I plan on waiting this one out, when I pre-ordered I wasn't expecting to pay shipping. There is no way I would pay more than the official set.
