Any Dexter fans out there still? I know the series hit a low point last season, but this season is really taking it up a notch!
The premiere was very promising. Still need to catch up on yesterdays episode but I'm hoping this season continues to pick the show up after a few disappointing seasons.
Liked the little line about collecting toys seems like a waste... says the man who collects blood slide trophies..
Louis being alive is going to be problematic. I would've just e-mailed the video with the hooker to the girlfriend.
Ever since the episode 2, this season has gone downhill. Dexter is pure garbage now, they don't even have balls to try.
Ray Stevenson is the only new character that is at all interesting. I am not liking Yvonne Stravhoski. I wish Dexter would end her already.
I give up on Dexter. It used to be my favorite show and it was painful to wait each week for the next episode. Now I don't care. The first few episodes of the season I really thought the show was redeeming itself. It was the best it had been in awhile. Then somewhere around episode 5 or 6 of season 7 it just got awful again. Dexter has become no better than the people he kills. If the spoilers that are floating around are true, the rest of the season is just going to get worse.
just finished up season 7...i agree with some of the posters here...the show hasnt been the best..but after season 7 deborah's character has gone to shit!
That had to be the worst season ever. Season 2 of Prime has nothing on this atleast that ending was great and i had some fun with it. I hated the ending to this season. Spoiler Deb killing LaGuerta was horrible, and the fact that Hannah survived sucked she was a terrible character. Honestly I'm just glad we have only one more season left.
It was kind of weird since Spoiler In the books, Brian kills LaGuerta at the end of the first book and escapes. That, at least, made it so that Spoiler Dexter was fairly innocent in that regard.
I think the fact that months go by before new posts are made in this thread speak volumes about the quality of the show now. I'm personally done with it now. Season 5 kind of sucked, season 6 really sucked, and season 7 sucked too. The whole Deb and Dexter romance thing makes me sick. Dexter is such a fucking hypocrite now. Killing innocents? WTF. He is doing exactly what he killed Miguel for now, he needs to kill himself.
Wow, I thought this was the best season since the Lithgow season, but I guess that's not saying much....
I just started watching Dexter this week. I'm currently half-way through Season 3. I like the show, but god dammit, Deb is an awful character. She's rude, dumb, immature, petty and over-emotional. I fucking hate her. She needs to be killed off!
Man this series finale was a letdown. Anybody body see it? Spoiler Dexter basically gives Hannah his son Harrington. Properly safer with him on the boat lol. If Deter had to lose everything Deb, his girl and family I wish it was because they caught him or he confessed. Seems crazy Ballista will never know Deb killed Lagaurda for Dexter. Too much left on the table so to speak. Major let down.
I wonder if he knows? The button push and explanation was pretty weak if you ask me lol. Probably the most hilarious moment in my opinion
