y'know I think this might be just a tad overrated. I mean look how bad some of the individual bot modes are. The yellow one on the left that forms his right arm... Scrapper I think. That's particularly bad, even for legends class.

The praise heaped on this set seems directly inverse to the dissappointment of the $100 version.

... Which is not to say that I don't think it's cool. I'm just surprised everyone else does too. I'm willing to forgive a lot for the sake of combination.

Actually, the bot modes for Scrapper and Rampage seem to have been switched. Scrapper's on the bottom right...and he looks cool if monochromatic. Rampage does look kinda sucky, but then it's an attempt at his 'jackhammer' form, methinks.

I REALLY hope this gets a non-Japan release so that I can buy the sucker without paying lots of cash. Which is annoying.

Slightly off topic, can someone tell me which is the most G1 cartoon accurate devastator toy available? i am looking for one that has the look of G1 and also good articulations. the repainted version of the Energon Constructicon Maximus looks nice but not accurate plus its only a 5 robot combiner.
