Ya I think people have got enough of this custom even I myself lol but anyway your paint job looks fantastic very similar to frenzy rumble paint scheme how u guys painted it very up to standard world class kit bash
I always love seeing these, they are inspirational and no two are exactly alike! Its fun finding little details that are different.
I'm not tired of seeing Devastators exactly. I'm just growing tired of seeing the same formula used each and every time. While these three are virtually unchanged, I'm wondering if you'll be using YiNothing's method of building Devvy for the rest of the guys.
i think they look good, nice paintwork. i dont think i really get tired of seeing these since i know that everyone would like to own a real devastator instead of the Hasbro G1 version its what made me start bashing. it'd be tough since he's already made hook, who is really too wide to sit on top of yinothing's version of long haul. plus he'd have to re-mod on top of all that nice paint detailing he's done on these guys.
thanks! this is all hand painted and i've yet to master the use of an airbrush unlike yourself...still like hand brush more... thanks! yeah, the details are fun! i guess deculpa has already answered for me...thanks!! i didn't change the build much except for more tougher connectors compared to my first one...less of glue and more on screws...also added in more details on the paint job...the first was a great experience, but this piece is one that i'm really proud of especially after the paint job...tried my hand at washes...so this one is actually giving me alot of fun right now!!
Paint apps like everyone is saying are awesome. I love that the details are reminiscent of the stickers.
I think this is the best paint job I've ever seen from you. All the little details are absolutely wonderful. Beautiful work, Z. - Alty
I was about to start a custom Devastator. When completed I would love to have an amazing paint job like you have here. But before I even get close to that, I need to figure out Mixmaster... ugh...
The chest plate is up and this has taken a way long time due to my family and work commitments...but this has to end....LOL...it'll be complete soon.... Also, as i said in the edited first post, i'll be making a few casts of this chest plate for sale, for the benefit of all future devastator customizers...watch this space....
I did not think this was hand painted, that is a great finish you put on them. You said Devastator right? Where is the combined pics
yup, it's hand painted. Devastator pictures will be up soon...i'm waiting to apply the decals and that's it! popeye arms? i'm using primus arms...so i don't think they'll look like popeye?
