your mom came to me in a dream. she merged for the kill and said, "prepare for anihlilation." ive never modded or bashed, im meager with the few tools i have. but i have a dollah and a dream.... and the internet and a lot of time and a buddy with an airbrush, God willing i make it that far. so ive got all the parts, and ive been at this on and off for a couple weeks. i really expected monumental failure, like he would have one arm longer than the other or not stand up, or i that would just give up. BUT FUGGTHAT. he's moving forward, his arms are the same length and he stands tall and firm (so far). im also happy to report that i have yet to injur myself. ive completed the basic framework from the toes through the torso, right now im working on the left leg and foreams. i have two heads coming in the mail, but im kinda wanting to try my hand at sculpting, scupltbot's head thread is pretty ill and i have a great idea for a head that noone has touched yet. shouts to ptitvite (how the hell do you say that?) and uuser for inspiration. thanks to thyvipera and uuser for guidance. and to my ex, who took my camera when we broke up this weekend.
lol i wonder how many unicrons have been destroyed to make devastators anyways i look forward to seeing this completed
okay...looking good man I want to bild my own one just can't get all the parts but yours is GREAT MAN KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*stole camera back from ex gf and updated with real photos* thanks, bro! you should do it, its pretty fun as long as youre patient with trying to get something to work right. Thanks for the support!
the arms are based on uuser's arm mods, which are from taken from the megamorphs hulk. he discusses it extensively in his devastator post here. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...sers-devastator-version-2-head-sculpture.html
Using the hulk arms and hands is a great direction to go when you want to show brute strength in these gestalts. I think you are off to a great start with this guy. I really don't have much more words for improvement except to keep moving forward. I look forward to when you post some more pics. Also, your torso may need to be lengthened so that his hands don't hang too low.
thank you, i've made quite a bit of headway since these photos, i will try to post new pics tonight. about the hands hanging low: i know, right? i've seen a few others run into that problem, some really bad. speaking of problems, im having to junk my original plans for mixmaster, anyone have any suggestions on who to mod to make him? im planning on the standard energon barricade but im open to suggestions.
looks good mate maybe the gf took the camera ,and u took it back but u still have your turntable -thats all that matters long live the lp
