I did some rough calculations, on about 20,000 units. Factoring in molding costs, paying the designers, materials costs and electronics costs, they would cost T-T about $4.50 each (I'm guessing of course, but using what I know from personal experience). Hasbro makes about 60% profit, so $11.25 if T-T makes about the same. With a 30% mark-up a retail, $16.07...

So I'd say a reasonable price would be $15-$20.

    Hmmm.
On the downside, it's expensive and it's not actually a great amount of storage.

On the upside, it's awesome. One of the best looking G1 style Ravages I've ever seen. (And a logical choice of updated altmode: The USB drive is kinda the tape of the 21st century.)

    I'll get one.

    No, of course not.

But there are some who aren't buying it because no matter how cool Ravage is, he's overpriced as a toy, and 2 GBs ain't worth squat these days. Had it been a 4, or an 8 for that price, then maybe.

The size of the capacity *IS* a negative selling point, really.

Ahh, then forgive me as I seem to have not been clear. I know Ravage seems to have good articulation, and a decent amount of joints for it's size. I was actually comparing it in value to that of an Alternator, which obviously has more joints. I'm just thinking it would probably be a bit fairer to compare to a basic size figure than an Alternator.

BTW, thanks for not being rude, it's a rarity that I have noticed on the boards lately. :)
