This is a thread where people with REAL good eyes saw details/Easter Egg nobody else did while watching TF1-5.


So far, I've only knoticed two scenes from 07-ROTF; one of which is gruesome.

Except both of these have been noticed since those films came out.

 

There are still some people who didn't see em though and there's a chance someone might share something no one else saw.

 

those movies are 2 1/2 hours long, and you only saw one scene of each? yikes

 

But did the people who saw them back then have REAL good eyes?

If nobody noticed them, how can we discuss them? If even a single person talks about something they saw, it no longer is something nobody noticed, and becomes steadily more than nobody the more people read the post.

I was actually looking at the second pic thinking "What am I suppose to-Oh!...Ugh."

 

Huh. I think I can honestly say I'm sure I haven't seen those before. The plate is a maybe, the decapitation is a definite. Good catch.

 

DUDE THE FALLEN'S THIGH GAP IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL HOLY SHIT

 

I knew about both of these, but somehow I remembered that instead of ENERGON, the license plate used to read SKIDS.
Speaking of Skids and his twin. When Devastator in ROTF starts to suck everything and Skids (I think) is hanging on for dear life on a pipe, a newspaper flies into view for one second, and catches on that pipe. In the Newspaper is a picture of a G1 Shockwave - but that also has been noticed by other posters on here multiple times before.
Speaking of Shockwave, this time in DOTM - When the humans slide down the floor up in the high rise building, and one of the soldiers fails to grab something, bunch of stuff falls out the window along with him. When the stuff flies past camera, which is focused on Shockwave, there is a framed picture of a family. I wonder if that is an easter egg of someone involved in the production of the film.

 

There might be some things that have been barely or rarely noticed, but I don't think there are much in the way of things that have not been noticed at all.

The first time we see the Knightship's anchors aren't in Chicago. It's in the Arctic as Attinger's helicopter flies toward Lockdown's ship.

The Psittacosaurus is pretty hard to miss in AoE's opening scene, but those tiny dinosaurs squabbling with it over a lungfish, who likewise have some bristly integument, are not juvenile Psittacosaurus, but heterodontosaurids complete with Tianyulong-like plumage and a fleshy bump on the nose inspired by reconstructions of a South African heterodontosaurid called Pegomastax.

The bones of the earliest named sauropod remains named from bones, Cetiosaurus, or the "whale lizard," can be seen in the background at Oxford in the museum scene with Vivian in TLK.

I know I'm not the only one to notice this, but I know of very few who have also noticed it that I've seen, so I'll say it. Bumblebee is not the only Autobot to ride Strafe. Crosshairs can briefly be seen riding Strafe by the harbor in Hong Kong. Crosshairs must have asked for a turn to fly!

 

This isn’t a catch so much as my own (possibly) faulty memory.

BUT!

When my wife and I went to see DOTM twice in theaters, we both swear that Laserbeak said, “Jerry... you were always my favorite.”

It was a major freakout moment for me, because my real name is Jerry. And we saw it twice. And both times we were certain that’s what he said. And we quoted it all the time.

And then I bought a blu-ray copy and when it got to that part, Laserbeak said, “Jerry, you are my favorite.”

Completely different.

My memory ain’t always razor sharp, but hers is. And for both of us to remember it that way only for it to turn out not to be true leads me to wonder:

Did Laserbeak’s line get changed between the theatrical & home version of the movie???

To be fair I’ve only just seen both of those for the first time thanks for posting! Love little things like this haha kind of like where’s wally/Waldo form when I was a kid keep em coming I’ll look for stuff myself  

 

Could be. There seemed to be a few things that changed for DOTM's home release.

I remember there were quite a few people that swore the shot of Carly walking up the stairs was cut down. And Bruce's "freaking" was changed to an f-bomb in the home release.

 

REALLY?! So it is possible?! Does anyone know for sure?? This has been bugging us forever.
