Welcome to my collection room
It’s been a work in progress but I think it’s nearly done.
You have an awesome collection with a beautiful setup props
Your collection is so cool and well organized!
What shelf did you use for your TF MPs?
It’s a custom shelf that I made. I bought a pile of glass shelving of assorted widths and lengths for really cheap and built the supports to hold them. Here are some progress shots. I made a majority of the shelving in this room myself.
Your shelf construction is amazing Destructimus! I was planning to hang some planks of wood on my wall and be really proud of myself Yours are next level!
Thanks @chchchch glad you like them it’s actually fairly easy to do if you have a few tools. I have a few glass shelves left over so I think I will add two double shelves above each of my hexagonal cabinets. And then I will be done. I have no more wall space left after that
Ha! Well that will be awesome, I look forward to seeing it at some point in your collection photos. You've inspired me to think about finally getting going on my own shelves soon.
I’d like to see what you come up with. A little planning goes a long way. Get creative with it. I personally like the open shelving that I made. I’m more prone to picking them off the shelf to mess with them as opposed to them being behind glass.
I agree, the only way I get a chance to ever handle the toys is if I can walk by and easily pick them up for a few minutes (and the kids are old enough now to know not to touch without permission ). If I ever finally build them I'll be sure to post pics somewhere. Last thing, did you have to use something like a jigsaw to make the support pieces? Or are the triangular supports separate pieces that are joined to the long vertical "struts" in between?
Great collection! But it seems a little weird that you have cases that say "Transformers" on the top of them and no Transformers inside
Well they used to hold my collection in my old house. I spent a bit of time making the signs so I wanted to keep them up.
The triangular pieces are separate and I notched them into the vertical struts and screwed them in from the back.
Update new BTTF case completed.
Scarlet Spider added to the collection
New case completed
What a sight I hope to show off my collection one day.
You’ve put a lot of work into your display space. I’m jealous at the amount of room you have. I also like the three robots from the first Voltron. They are from the first Voltron right?
