So, I somehow got my Guardian to hold his gun at ease. Then when I pulled the trigger, he lifted it back to firing position.
Nope. Only ones that really need changing would be Thorn, Fellwinters Lie and Final Round high impact Sniper Rifles. Unbalanced as the Crucible may be, it still feels more balanced than any CoD game I've played. Once I get my new router I'll be able to play Trials of Osiris unhindered this week, should be an easy 9 wins and 0 losses followed by a trip to the Lighthouse on Mercury.
The only gun I can't straight up outshoot is the Mythoclast. Even before I had my suros, I had confidence in my ability to get the killing shot off before I got tagged against any other gun. Mythoclast, though, that damn thing is a straight broken killer. Felwinter's Lie isn't too broken. At close range it's a 1 hit kill, but it's so damn slow to cycle. It's 2 seconds between shots and that's an eternity in PVP. I occasionally use Thorn in PVP, but I've never gotten the results so many others have. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
Ah. it's a quick little thing. once it's leveled, you don't have to aim down to really rack up the crits. makes it very easy to outshoot others.
I keep going to buy this game but all I see from the people who play it is anger had enough of that kinda environment with Warcraft so I'll just stick to other games I guess.
So, I have to thinks to ask. First, where the hell are the Blades of Crota guys? Second, does anyone else think that the Bladedancer Hunter's special melee is pretty useless? If you want it, get it. Just because something angers you from time to time doesn't mean you can't like it. It's kinda like relatives actually.
Mythoclast is pretty bad these days, most things will outgun it. Plus it also has terrible range. Fellwinter's Lie has been dubbed Felwinter's Sniper. Range on the thing is insane for a shotgun, and it remains a one hit kill at a decent range due to it's high impact. Thorn is a 2 shot kill if you get headshots. Lingering damage will kill them. Most people just spam it at medium range though, it fires fast and is easy to control. The way that I would nerf it is that if the Guardian using it dies, then any lingering damage occurring at the time stops. I've never actually had a problem with it. Sure it can kill someone fast at close range, at long range it's pretty pathetic and at medium range it's good. Also for it to be a 2 hit kill that annoys some people you have to be very close and hipfiring. I think the blade of Crota guys have been removed since they were the special patrol event for TBD, and now we have the "A pack of wolves is prowling" event for HoW. Blink Strike is the longest range melee in the game. Awesome in PvP with hungering blade. Do some damage to your enemy, melee them at a decent distance and get instant health regen. For PvP having it on with invisibility upon hitting an enemy is very useful. And then you have fast recharge for it, giving you a long range melee that is pretty much always ready. It's pretty awesome.
Yeah Blink Strike has the longest range for a melee; meaning how far away you can be standing for the melee to target a player/enemy. (Best range besides Throwing Knife obviously)
You can find a blade of crota in the Expansion 1 mission on earth. I think it's fist of crota or something is the name. It spawns a blade.
make a B line straight past the baddies into the building, straight past Omnigul. He's in there. Kill, bounce to orbit, repeat. Finish Bounty in 10 minutes.
So I ran through the level 32 prison of elders last night with some friends. It was a lot of fun and got really intense in the boss room.
Yeah, my friends and I just couldn't kill the boss. We pulled the Cabal Juggernaut whose shield switched back on under a different element every 30 seconds. Huge pain in the ass. I need to power level.
