The premium content for the next year. Mostly new activities and stuff. There's a roadmap on bungle.net that explains some of the new stuff that's coming and what free vs what's in the annual pass.
Looked at map and considered annual pass. Checking out update...and you need materials to upgrade weapons?? So now you need look at materials, mods, and masterwork when upgrading/dismantling! Why are they making it so complicated? I miss Destiny 1.
You get materials from doing stuff on locations now. Any chest, public event, patrol, or adventure will give you at least 4 of the location's material. And with the new mod system mods will pop out when you dismantle anything that has a mod. It's not as complicated as it first seems.
I am familiar with finding/buying materials from Destiny 1 but to add it with mods and masterworks in Destiny 2 makes no sense. Not to mention mods from prior seasons are useless. Mods finally popping out is nice. I could see that I was collecting a bunch of material after public events (did not go to my inventory yet, fine) but why even add it for the new weapon system?
i'll probably get back into Destiny and buy Forsaken down the road. But right now, in my present circumstance, I can't justify it. Nor can I afford it.
Well I am a sucker, preordered dlc with annual pass last night before going to bed. I have not done a nightfall or raid in D2 yet but I do like playing strikes or crucible when I have time.
I’d just like to say it, Forsaken has saved Destiny 2! The challenges constantly give me stuff to do, and you have to put in a good bit of effort for everything. Too bad I’ll NEVER be able to take part or even come close to finishing the new raid....
@Omegashark18 If we could get all the clan on one night it.might be possible but we are all on different schedules at the moment. I've still not done Leviathan......
Well, it's true. I just completed that quest from the end of the Halloween Season... Hello old friend!
the forges are a pain in the ass to light up. Like, they're demanding at least light 610 to even compete. You have to grind before you can even start to grind.
Bungie announces split from Activision Bungee will have “full publishing rights and responsibilities for the Destiny franchise.” Thoughts?
I haven't played since vanilla Destiny 2. I didn't buy any of the dlc.Where do I start if I want to get back into the game?
*Cough* Bungie splits with Activision, acquires rights to Destiny Bungie just split from Activision and they'll keep the Destiny IP. Here's hoping Blizzard gets the right idea and splits too.
