My bad, poor choice of words. I know that 42 light purples won't drop in the strikes. Issues is that my Titan and Hunter are... underpowered for their levels. I didn't start them until my warlock was already 29, so I had exotics sitting in the vault for them that jumped them up to 27 right out of the gate. So my Titan, for instance, has 6 exotics, but most of his other armor is either launch quality purples, or blues. (Can't use Chest of Alpha Lupi because my only non-exotic helmet is a 26 Light blue...) So he's a ... "weak 32" and has very little armor flexibility. Strikes won't get me any levels, but I'll get BETTER kit, and level up the rest of what I DO have. While sliding in the weekly PoE32, for higher Light pieces.

So I gave up on trying to find a legendary void shotgun and settled for a void fusion rifle. And I fairly easily completed that portion of the Thorn bounty. Though it was a bit of a grind. But now I'm stuck at the final part. I thought it would be pretty easy since it's only a 26 strike and I'm 31. But damn! These guys are super tough! Like every enemy has a yellow health bar and they don't stop shooting. You come out of cover and are met with just a wall of fire. So does anyone want to help me with this some time tonight? LMK. I'll probably on at around 8 EST.

Sorry I missed you last night- we had 2 PoE32 runs set up. :-\ I DO have to run some Dragon Strikes and Weekly Heroic still this weekend, and those will be open door! I concur. I'm still on the Crucible part, but I'll be (hopefully) needing to run that strike, as well. Have you done it before? There are some decent tricks to it. If you're on PS4, look up the user Kain_Thorn - he's like a Thorn Bounty guru and he basically solo'd the last part for me, just to help me get the gun, lol
Yeah reforge for Void! If you don't have marks you may be able to get a free shotgun from 28 PoE. I think you need a key to get Queens weapons at the end to drop but 28 PoE is easy. Xur may not have any good stuff but don't forget to buy exotic shards to ascend pre-HoW exotic armor and weapons to max level!
Yep. I've been trying for the past few weeks to get ANY kind of Legendary shotgun with a "II" in the corner so I can reforge it to void damage. Been running the Dragon Strike playlist hoping to get one and all I've gotten are tons of Legendary heavy machine guns. Then a couple days ago I finally tried PoE and got an Exotic auto rifle and a Legendary void fusion rifle. Those 2 with one of my void machine guns were able to finish that part of the bounty pretty easily. And yeah, I've got a lot of exotic shards to buy. I might upgrade my Incentive shotgun or I might just keep the Exotic auto rifle as my Exotic Weapon and upgrade Comedian instead. Also got to upgrade my Icebreaker for my Hunter. Or, since I'm probably going to give her the Thorn, I might have to find a decent Legendary sniper.
What are some of the things that Xur sells every week? (inventory that doesn't get refreshed) The grind is real to get faction rep! But hey, ALL legendary gear lvl 32 in 1 week! Now just going to have to start work on getting those damn exotics from VoG (normal, can't seem to pick hard). Any other 5 members wanting to make a fireteam for today?
Exotic Shards, Heavy Ammo synths, and now Motes of Light. Everything else varies by week, whether it's the Exotic gear, the engram, the weapon telemetries, or even the Sparrow upgrade colors. You can count on the types in general though I guess, there's always one armor per class, one weapon, one engram, three telemetries and two Sparrow upgrades. You can't start a hard mode raid without having completed it once before, but you should be able to join a HM raid if someone else is fireteam leader.
Got to level 30, beat the Kell of Kells, beat the Prison of Edlers, and got the Lone Word. All with the help of Vanguard, thanks buddy! All I need now is some Legendary shoulders, legs, and Ship then I'll be content with my progress with the game.
