Same. I need a void primary and, of course, Ghorn. Friends played nightfall with me, one got 2 more Ghorns to add to the 1 he already had. I got strange coins. Super pissed.
Been wanting the Monte Carlo for a while now, not only did I just get it, I got it from a Legendary Engram I got for completing a level 28 Strike. Edit: Also, Bad Juju + Obsidian Mind = Fast Supers.
Have Juju, need Obsidian. liking Red Death and health recovery more after running Crota, though... lol
I dunno man, don't have Red Death, but that Juju + Obsidian combo seems pretty beast. 1: Use Juju to rack up kills, each kill refills the magazine and charges your super, even shooting explosive "barrels" works for it. 2: Cast super on a group of enemies, depending on amount of kills, you can get more than half your super back instantly. 3: Repeat.
True, I've been doing pretty well with the Monte Carlo for the last few hours though. Still want the Vex Mythoclast though, really need to get around to doing the Raids and PoE on their hard difficulties, for the loot and the Emblem.
So I got the bounty for Thorn, which is apparently a good hand cannon. But now I'm stuck at the Crucible portion to get points by killing other players with void damage. And as a Titan, the only void damage I can do is by punching people and throwing grenades. I have no void weapons and I don't think people are just going to let me go around punching them. Sigh.
Re-roll one of your special weapons at the gunsmith. Along with changing perks, he'll also change the damage type. If you can roll a Void Shotgun with Shot Package and/or Full Auto, you should be golden.
I have the Thorn bounty too, really need to do it. Though, since the last patch, I seem to be experiencing an awful lot of lag.
Nope. Huh? I did not know he could do that. Unfortunately it doesn't seem I have any shotguns that he can re-roll. I guess you can only do it with one with a "II" in the corner?
Yeah. Forgot that part. You can only re-roll Iron Banner weapons and Legendaries introduced in The House of Wolves. If you happen to be Rank 3 or above in either Crucible or any of the three Tower Factions, you should be able to buy a shotgun from one of them. Failing that, try running Prison of Elders on lv.28. It has a chance to drop Legendary weapons and you can get Queen's weapons out of the large treasure chest with keys, one of which being a shotgun that you can re-roll if it already isn't void damage.
I need to run that bounty again, I pulled it a few weeks ago for the second time. Should be a lot easier now, with my Voidwalker Warlock with Nothing Manacles, Oversoul Edict, Secret Handshake, Truth. Probably still take me a whole week.
Thorn is the best PvP weapon right now...f*cking hate it. Pretty much all you see people using in Trials. Can't wait for it to be nerfed.
I'm hoping that they don't just do the lazy thing they did with Auto Rifles and make them all crap. I may hate the gun, but I don't want to see it nerfed into oblivion. A range decrease is needed, maybe more recoil and the lingering damage needs to wear off if you kill the guy. Right now you just need to land 2 headshots and they will die...
They've already nerfed the range once taht I know of... It doesn't bother me that much. It's not like everyone runs it, and there will always be a "OMG the gun is too BR0ke!" weapon. If they nerf Thorn to uselessness, then something else will take it's place, like TLW if they sell it this weekend. *shrug*. Perfect balance would be nice, but it's virtually impossible without making every gun identical.
I hope that they buff all other guns to some extent and level the playing field. That way there will be a lot of guns to use instead of ones that are obsolete. Coot
