Does anyone else think the ship in the beginning of this video (Ticktock Inquisitor) looks like Optimal Optimus in his flight mode or is it just me?
Got a Flawless Trials of Osiris run last night. Along the way I got the Watcher's Boots, Jewel of Osiris, another The Last Word and some Ethric Light. From my chest at the Lighthouse I got the exotic emblem and The Messenger (Adept) with Arc damage. Pretty sweet stuff, and the Lighthouse is awesome. My weapon setup for Osiris was The Last Word, Erifdeet's Spear and Hunger of Crota. My sniping was rather crazy last night, I was on the ball
So... trials of Osiris ain't working on the 360. Says there aren't enough players. Wtf? There are at least 5-10k players on 360. I know all of them may not have the DLC, but wtf?
It doesn't have matchmaking. It will find you enemies, but not friends. You need to pre-form a fireteam of 3 to compete.
i tried the Trials yesterday. Nothing but 34s using the maxed guns they got from last week smoking our asses. That's just not fun.
There's definitely some fixing needed for trials. Bungie didn't seem to know what was going to happen on a mass scale with this mode. The group I play in do fine with standard PVP and even Iron Banner, but going into trails has been a total crapshoot. Nobody in there is playing for fun, they just want to win, and even when you're winning, it's still just stressful.
Well, it is supposed to be the most 'competitive' PvP mode in Destiny; nobody is going in just for the sake of playing it. You go in to win, nothing else. Personally I find that fun, but I know a lot of people don't.
Yeah, and I'm not even speaking for myself because even when first hearing about it I thought to myself "okay that doesn't sound fun at all." However, even my more competitive friends just hate going in there and being thorned and sniped immediately. The problem with just saying it's supposed to be the most competitive multiplayer mode in Destiny is that Destiny's long time players like myself have grown to want to collect everything, and this is a new, not fun wall to get through for a whole bunch of new stuff. And not that I want everything handed to me, I don't mind putting in lots of time, but I just want to have fun while doing it.
No more double or even triple dipping in Ether Chests any more it seems, knew it was just a matter of time before they patched it though. World Increased the drop rate of Treasure Keys from Ether Chests Ether Chests may only be looted once per spawn Ether Chests will no longer grant ammo consumables when opened Ether Chests will now grant a small amount of Queen's Wrath reputation when opened Ether Chests now have a chance to drop Tokens of Flight, Identity, and Judgment. No more ammo consumables is a bit disappointing to me. I guess the increases key drops will be worth it.
The ammo consumables were a bane to me. Inventory space was more limited than ever with all the new stuff, and I had stacks of the ammo consumables that you aren't allowed to just delete. So, I say great. Of course, it didn't matter because the changed the stacks to go to 99 now instead of just 20.
I didn't raid the chests too much, so I have a pretty good amount of special ammo synth on me. It feels good to have instant ammo when I need it, especially during nightfall or weekly strikes.
I just bought this for $20 at Amazon now I'm regretting that purchase I didn't know you couldn't pause the game.
