I'd like to see a show that focused on the various teams within the factions.

    Autobot:
    The Wreckers
    The Dinobots
    Aerialbots

    Decepticons
    Combaticons
    Constructicons
The Predacons (The ones that combine into Predaking)
    Insecticons
    Seekers
    Stunticons.

    Starseekers
    Thundertron
    Axel
    Brimstone
    Sandstorm

    Maximals

    Predacons

A show that either focused on those not involved in the war or focused on the Cons would also be nice.

For a game, an RPG style Transformers game.

Oh God, you have no idea what you're in for, man. I've already come up with a rough idea for my own TF show/franchise/whatever, and I've already done "episodes" about it.

    Title: Transformers IGNITION
Basic Idea: Think a cross between Transformers Animated and the over the top action from super robot anime.

Basic story: The Great War has ended. Unfortunately, the Decepticons won the Great War many millennia ago, and thus control Cybertron, causing the Autobots to scatter to various colony worlds, and even those are under siege by the expanding Decepticon Empire. A small crew of Autobots on a search for Energon supplies in an unknown solar system end up in a skirmish with the current leader of the Decepticons, Shockwave, and the battle sends both ships hurtling into a small planet that will later be known as Earth.

As time goes by and the world changes, a city has been built near where the Autobots had crashed; Ocean City, the most technologically advanced city in the world, located on the west coast of Florida. The Autobots awaken when the Ark's computer detects a large amount of Energon flowing in and out of Ocean City. After scanning various vehicles to disguise themselves, they seek out the source of the Energon and find out that the small organic lifeforms on the planet had invented a synthetic form of Energon, a clean fuel that has replaced petroleum oil all across the world. Unfortunately, an act of sabotage on the Energon plant threatens to level the entire city if it isn't stopped. At the risk of blowing their disguises, the Autobots use some of their technical know-how to bring the Energon plant back to normal, and expose the saboteur.

After the first crisis on Earth, G.B. Blackrock, the CEO of Blackrock Industries and inventor of Synthetic Energon, approaches the Autobots. While some humans are still suspicious of the alien robots, Blackrock strikes a deal with them - he'll let them stay in Ocean City if they prevent other attacks.

After Blackrock builds a set of hangars for the Autobots to use as a new base, the Autobots meet a twenty-three year-old human named Marina Tezuka. A skilled computer programmer and employee of Blackrock industries, she's immediately fascinated by robotic lifeforms, and longs to understand how they work. She develops a strong friendship with the Autobots, helping them adjust to life on Earth.

The Autobots take on the role of guardians of the city, protecting it from natural disasters, organized crime and dangerous militia groups. Then the Autobots are truly tested when the trigger-happy Decepticon, Cyclonus, makes his appearance - not only have the Decepticons found the biggest amount of Energon in recent history, there are also signs that the Emperor of Destruction, Megatron, had crashed on Earth long ago. Now, Earth is caught in between a conflict that's been waged for millions of years...

    Autobot Main/First Cast:
Optimus Prime: A young captain of the Energon-seeking vessel known as the Axalon, Optimus has always longed to be a hero. He may have gotten what he wished for when he and his crew end up stuck on a planet that will soon become a battlefield between his ragtag Autobot crew and the many of the most dangerous Decepticons. Despite his inexperience, he's a good leader and tries his best to keep his crew functioning properly; still, the ragtag nature of his crew also gives him a bit of a sarcastic streak at times. He wields a Solitarium-powered ion axe and transforms into a heavy-duty pick-up truck. He’s voiced by David Kaye.

Ironclad: The biggest Autobot on the team, Ironclad is one of the only 'Bots on the team to have lived through the Great War. The horrible experiences he had have left him as a damaged, world-weary robot. Despite this, he's the wisest of the team, and is always there to offer sage advice to the rest of the crew. His right leg was amputated and replaced during the Great War. He transforms into an armored off-roader and his weapons are a pair of rivet guns mounted on his wrist; however, he tries to avoid the use of his weapons in favor of relying on his brute strength. He’s voiced by Michael Dorn.

Siren: The medic of the team, Siren is usually a very calm, composed type. Although he hates combat, he will jump into the battlefield if his medical know-how is needed. He is utterly fascinated by life on Earth, and does research on the various lifeforms and natural phenomena from the Earth's "internet," compiling the data he gathers into an encyclopedia he plans to present to the Autobot Colonies. He transforms into a high speed rescue vehicle and uses a pair of electro-shock paddles normally used for Spark defibrillation. He’s voiced by Troy Baker.

Wheeljack: The bungling inventor and demolitions expert of the crew, Wheeljack is also big-time wisecracker. Even in the most dangerous of situations, he'll crack a joke to try and lighten the mood. He also loves to build various devices and weaponry that usually backfire on him, which often ends with him sustaining minor injuries that put him in the med-bay for a quick fix. Wheeljack is also known for his love of Cybertronian intoxicants - he particularly likes Nightmare Fuel. Wheeljack, much like Ironclad, was active during the Great War, although Wheeljack was in the Science Guild instead of the front lines. Wheeljack transforms into a tow truck, and he uses various explosive devices in combat. He’s voiced by John DiMaggio.

Stakeout: Brought online in the final years of the Great War, Stakeout joined the Cyber Ninja Corps, where he was taught Metallikato and Circuit-Su by master Yoketron. After his training was finished, he and a squadron of other Cyber Ninjas (including Yoketron) were sent into battle against Decepticons on the planet Paradron. The Cyber Ninjas held the Vehicon troops off... Then the Decepticon Metallikato master Bludgeon arrived. Bludgeon massacred the Cyber-Ninja squadron, leaving only three survivors - Stakeout, Prowl, and Jazz. After the war, Stakeout left the Cyber-Ninja Corps, leaving Prowl and Jazz to train younger Autobots, such as Drift. Stakeout isn’t much of a team player – he has a tendency to pop up out of nowhere and leave just as quickly. Stakeout transformers into a white-and-blue electric superbike, and his primary is his ability to generate hard-light disks razor-discuses with his hands. Stakeout is voiced by Crispin Freeman.

Hot Shot: The youngest member of the team, Hot Shot was formerly a street racer on the planet Velocitron. He was eventually drafted and sent to Autobot boot camp, which he didn't enjoy at all. After that, he was drafted onto an Energon research vessel, which he also didn't enjoy. That said, he quickly made friends with Wheeljack and the rest of the crew. His hot-headed attitude does get him in trouble at times (especially when Siren gets annoyed), but his Spark is in the right place. Hot Shot transforms into a sports car and uses arm-mounted welding torches as flamethrowers. He’s voiced by Jason Spisak.

    Main Human:
Marina Tezuka: A twenty-three year old tech expert working for Blackrock Industries, Marina is usually softspoken and sort of shy. She’s awkward around other people, and spends most of her time programming for Blackrock Industries’ tech division. She’s one of the first humans to meet the Autobots, and quickly becomes their friend. She has a special bond with Siren, considering both of them are computer tech specialists. After purposely being shot by the freshly-revived Megatron solely to demoralize the Autobot troop; the Dark Energon poisons her system, almost killing her. Siren works with a human medic to heal her using an infusion of Energon. While this does heal her enough that she'll live, the trauma of the attack leaves her paralyzed. To cure this, Sirena uses nanites he developed from Cybertronian tech. Not only do these nanites save her life, they additionally grant her the power of Transfer Interlink, which allows her to materialize objects out of hard light. Afterwards, she's capable of fighting alongside the Autobots, calling her new, super-powered alter-ego "Conduit". Marina’s voice actress is Stephanie Sheh.

    Main Decepticons:
Starscream: Starscream is a young Decepticon who was forged well after the Great War had ended. He’s heard many myths about Megatron, and believes the long-lost Decepticon leader is a war hero. He ends up learning the hard way that Megatron’s no hero at all as the series goes on. Starscream adheres to a code of honor, and has trouble attacking humans because he actually feels sorry for them, and eventually starts becoming somewhat protective of them, which leads to him ultimately defecting from the Decepticons. Starscream wields a pair of swords formed from his fighter jet mode wings. He is voiced by Sam Riegel.

Shockwave: Shockwave is the current leader of the Decepticons. A cold, calculating robot, he purged himself of any emotional programming ad devoted his entire processor to pure logic. He’s also a technological master, and has replaced much of his body with upgrades. Upon arriving to Earth, he attempts to suppress the other Decepticons from finding Megatron, since he believes he’s the more logical choice for a leader. Shockwave transforms into a futuristic Osprey-like hoverjet. He’s voiced by Corey Burton.

Soundwave: Soundwave is a ‘Con of few words. His statements are short and right to the point, and he doesn’t talk that much otherwise. He’s the Decepticon’s resident spy, and he does a damn good job of it. The other Decepticons don’t really trust him, mainly because he seems to always be watching the rest of the team. He’s the eyes and ears of the Decepticons, and he even records the conversations of his teammates. Soundwave transforms into a stealth drone and is voiced by Frank Welker.

Lugnut: Lugnut is big. In fact, he’s VERY big, towering over the rest of the Decepticons. However, despite his huge size and strength, he’s rather simple-minded. He’s completely devoted to Megatron, and views the long-lost Decepticon leader as a demi-god of sorts. He carries a payload of various weaponry within his body, but his most famous weapon is his Punch of Kill Everything. Lugnut transforms into a bumber plan. He’s voiced by David Kaye.

Cyclonus: A trigger-happy psychopath, Cyclonus loves shooting things. In fact, he REALLY loves shooting things, particularly with his rapid fire arm-mounted gatling guns. He talks and acts almost like a stereotypical cattle rustler. His various projectile weapons include a sniper rifle, a shotgun, and two short-range pistols. Cyclonus transforms into a helicopter. He’s voiced by David Lodge.

Megatron: After awakening from a long slumber in the Antarctic, Megatron resumes his position as Decepticon Emperor of Destruction. A heartless tyrant, Megatron has nevertheless built a cult of personality, which only increased after his disappearance. While he’s an effective strategist, nearly all of his troops are simply just pawns to him, and while he promises his army “peace through tyranny,” he lost his ideals of peace long ago and simply wants to completely destroy the Autobots and take every single colony world they have for the Decepticon Empire, and now he’s set his optics on Earth. Megatron’s signature weapon is his arm-mounted fusion cannon, and he's a triple changer who can transform into a tank and an SR-71-esque plane. He’s voiced by Tony Todd.

Been thinking this one up for a while...

Transformers: More than Meets the Eye

Art style similar to that of the current IDW comics, and a story that takes inspiration from modern comic book movies and their characters. It would have a main cast of Autobots and Decepticons that are always around, but others come and go as the serious progress. There would be a villain of the week sort of thing, as the core cast of Decepticons try to defeat the Autobots and their human friends.

    Autobots:
-Optimus Prime- Would be a sort of Nick Fury kind of character who would give the others assignments and updates, but he'd be mostly out of the picture.
-Ultra Magnus- Would be the leader of the group, and similar to Captain America. Not afraid to be blunt to his fellow Autobots.
-Jetfire- The flyer and Iron Man like bot. He would also be the tech guy of the group.
-Grimlock- The grumpy, Wolverine-esque, Dinobot of the group. Short temper and a more melee style of fighting. Despises Lockdown and refuses to work with him.
-Bumblebee- The small, witty, spy of the group. Kind of like Spider-Man.
-Rodimus- The ranger and sort of like Green Arrow. Definitely give him a bow like Animated.
-Arcee- The small, and underrated group of the member. The Black Canary to Rodimus's Green Arrow. Maybe even give her a sonic weapon of some kind.

    Decepticons:
-Megatron- The evil mastermind behind all Decepticon activities. Played out kind of like Lex Luthor.
-Starscream- A bit of a trixter, like Loki. Unsure of his allegience to the cause.
-Skywarp- Been through some dark stuff, an ex-mercenary, has a grudge against Rodimus, maybe something like Deathstroke.
-Scourge- Like the RID character, connection to Optimus, but more of a stupid brute, kinda like Solomon Grundy.
-Blackarachnia- Small and slinky character, kind of like Catwoman.
-Seekers/Vehicons- The cannon fodder that get shipped out with the new Decepticon threat of the week. The Seekers are clones of Starscream and Skywarp, while the Vehicons are clones of Lockdown.

    Neutral:
-Lockdown- Essentially his Animated self, bounty hunter, and maybe some Punisher-like qualities to him.
-Swindle- Lockdown's partner, mind is focused on making money, kind of like Quark... yeah, from Star Trek.
-Sideways- Mischevious entity that takes the form of a Transformer and occasionaly messes with the bots and cons. Think Q, again, from Star Trek.

    Humans:
-Army General- Main contact between the Autobots and the army. Not exactly happy with his post.
-Army scientist- Helps the Autobots with gear and power issues. Seems a bit too interested in the Transformers as a race.
-Seasoned pilot- Main contact between the Autobots and the air force. Mentor to the young pilot.
-Young pilot- Has a lot of respect for his mentor, but is at times too excited. Can be annoying at times.
-Government agent- Kind of like Amanda Waller in Arrow. Keeps an eye on the Autobots and their war against the Decepticons. Keeps many things secret.
-Soldiers/Pilots- The randome human cannon fodder that try and help out with the Decepticon threats. Actually helpfull at times.

TRANSFORMERS: GOBOTS, the saga of a boozing, womanizing ex-Seeker who calls himself Leader-1 who, along with a disgraced Velocitronian named Turbo and their inept parole officer Scooter, are recruited by Prime to put an end to a Decepticon-Hive conspiracy in order to be eligible for pardon. Complications to this plan arise, however, when the conspiracy leads Leader-1 and his crew to Earth...where humankind turns out to be not any more happy to have Transformers back on Earth than Prime is for this particular group to be there.

I can't do stop motion, since I don't have a camera. By "episodes," I meant short stories, like "Beware the Bonecrusher" over in the fanfic forum :p

    Okay I done drooling now^
    My turn.

    Name: Transformers: Oblivion
Basic plot: Renegades, known as Starseekers, are ravaging the galaxy. Its up to a small team of miners to stop them.
    *******************
    Cast
    Mining Team Alpha.
    Rhinox
The leader of the team, he a bit over the top at times. He resents Perceptor 's by-the-book logic, thinking he needs to "shut up at times". He's amazingly strong, and often teases the other members of the team for not thinking the way he does. He was once a cybertronian sport champion, which is where he gets his strength. He converts into a cybertronian battle truck of sorts, with a mining attachment, and when they discovered earth, he took on the form of a rhino. He's armed with twin gatling guns which turn into bucket excavator attachments, drillbit/missile launcher and a magnetic ray.
    Perceptor
The scientist, he is assigned to locate energon. He's a by-the-book operator, who'd rather confine himself in the laboratory than actually help. He's very intelligent; almost too intelligent, to the point that no one really ever know what he's talking about. He transforms into a cybertronian locator(satellite), and never took on an earth form thanks to his "traditions". Though he dislike battle, he carries a shoulder mounted cannon, which becomes his satellite mode's barrel.
    Twintwist
The lead miner, he's completely devoted to his role. He's somewhat of a simplekin, and he's almost always seen chewing on a piece of metal. He gets very defensive when anyone talks about his looks, since before the war he was famous. He converts to a twin drill tank, and he took an earth mode of a helicopter. His hand convert to the drills for melee combat, and he also carries two energon pistols.
    Nosecone
Twintwist brother, he's keeps him in check. he's always making sure that his brother isn't doing something stupid, for he can be clumsy at times. He believes that earth is a forsaken world and that they shouldn't waste their time being there. His alternate mode is a precision drill tank that heavily armed with cannons, and his earth mode is a F22 Raptor. He caries a large machine gun, and his drill/ nosecone can fire off of his back.
    ***************
    Starseekers
The Starseekers are responsible for the loss of Cybertron's energon. This is what cause the two factions in the first place. Once the war for Cybertron was over, Megatron and Optimus had made a treaty to bring peace. The Starseekers, however, denied this treaty and, lead by Starscream, ravaged Cybertron, turning the world into a barren cesspit.
    The "Elite":
    Starscream
The Starseekers Supreme leader. He once was a decepticon under Lord Straxis Wing, he betrayed him and sided with the Starseekers once the treaty was written. He overthrew their leader and took it upon himself to lead them to a "New Awakening". He is sly, wicked and suspicious of everyone. Once he was killed however, Unicron resurrected him as an energon vampire, now Darkscream, and took every starseeker as his henchmen. Alternate mode is an assault space ship, and his earth mode is an F-16 falcon, and his Unicron enhanced mode is a gargoyle like creature. He is armed with twin AIM-4 falcon missiles on each arm, and later two Dark Matter swords.
    Hot Rod
He's is a starseeker with questionable attitude. He's always caught staring at a screen, seeming to be speaking to someone. If Starscream wasn't already suspicious enough, he makes even more paranoid. He is a caring, sort of soft fellow, who put his teammates before himself, much to Starscream's disgust. Turns out, he's an autobot spy, assigned by Optimus before his death to join them and watch them. Unfortunately, when Starcscream was revived, he was the first to experience the transformation of Unicron, becoming Excalibur. His alt mode is a cybertronian hot rod, an earth hot rod, and as Excalibur, a black and purple vampire bat. He's armed with his signature twin tailpipe flamethrowers, and assault rifle, and later flaming wing blades.
    Cyclonus
Said to be a decendant of Unicron himself, he is utterly wicked. he constantly in the laboratory concocting potions and experiments on prisoners. he dislikes Starscream, but is often vexed by his attitude. He was Unicron enhanced to become Tarantulas, and then, that's when he snapped. He became mastermind of chaos, often capturing innocent creatures not only to experiment, but to devour them as well. His alt mode is a cybertronian jet, an Earth speedboat, and later a goliath birdeater. His weapons include a twin-barreled rocket launcher, mini canisters of toxic anything that he uses as grenades, and as Tarantulas his mandible could spit acid, and he was armed with bladed legs.
    Shockwave
Cyclonus assistant, he believes him to be purely INSANE. He is often the one who has to clean of dead bodies and failed experiments, much to his disgust. he is actually very powerful, but Starscream refuses to believe so. Turns out, his leader had things in store for him, and he was reformatted to become Quake. His alternate mode is a turret/ observation scope, and his Earth mode is a submarine. As Quake, his mode giant combat fortress. He is the only Unicron enhanced Starseeker to have a vehicle mode. His weapons are his cannon arm, scanner eye, his earth weapons are his Tornado cannon. As Quake, his weapons were his city drones torso deploying cannon, and his minicon Rumble, who can generate earthquakes
    *************
    Unicron
The dark lord of destruction, he insist that everything is his way, no matter how its done. He is able to control anyone with a corrupt spark, and granted Starscream the ability to transformer whosoever he wishes. He is confined as the core of the planet Chaar, the starseekers homeworld. He has no true form, and once released, he is capable of taking on any form, any mode, and can control anyone. He was able to strike a deal with Starscream to become Darkscream, and his seductive ways can trick almost anyone who is gullible enough. He is the creator of the hate plague and cosmic rust.
    Optimus Prime
The legendary leader of the autobots during the great war he will be limited to flashbacks and stories. In the past he was the leader of the Elite Guard, who was:
    Ultra magnus(dead)
    bumblebee(dead)
    Ironhide
    Sideswipe(dead)
    Many other unnamed autobots
    Megatron
The legendary warlord of the Great War, leader of the Deceticons. He was the one who had his colleague, Sideways, write the treaty. He greatly trusted Starscream and even considered him "a worthy opponent".

    Sideways
A descendant of Unicron, wandering the galaxy to spread corruption. He was told by Unicron to join the decepticons many millennia ago. He tricked Megatron into letting him write the treaty, for he knew that starscream would react that way. When Starscream was transformered, he revealed himself in a new form, Doubledealer. Doubledealer is capable of splitting in two, a missile truck and a space shuttle, with a minicon capable of turning into his head. Sideways altmode is a cybertronian light speed pod capable of over 3 light years per second, and Doubledealer's Minicon head, Solitare, is capable of becoming a turret for either the truck or the shuttle.

Glad I'm not the only one. "Do you want what's in docking bay #1 or what Banzai-Tron is bringing down in the box?"

Moving onto my own answer (cut&paste)
