Really hard to tell, i guess usually i prefer symmetric designs but sometimes asymetric can be cool too, according to Aaron Archer the Armada Autobots and Decepticons had intentionally different design aesthetics. The Autobots were designed to be symmetrical with clean lines and detailing, while the Decepticons had asymmetrical sculpts and details to invoke a more foreboding and battle-worn feel.
Honestly, my biggest preference is variety. I wouldn't want nothing but symmetrical figures, nor would I want nothing but asymmetrical figures.
Asymmetrical can be neat sometimes...but I prefer symmetrical. Imagine you’re BW Megs and you break your left hand and still have to wipe your exhaust port...ouch...
