Considering the design is from a comic built around G1 and Star Trek cartoon designs (and newer ones made to fit in with that look), I'd say unique or complex designs are not the intent at all.

Personally though, I would have like the warp nacelles to be integrated into the robot mode more, like as the arms or legs, rather than just having them jutting from the back like that.

So I gotta be honest here.

    Enterprise Art looks great.

    That robot art looks stupid.

This design blows that garbage away. :lol

I really like the name but the designs just seems kinda "standard" like it works but it's not really inspiring

    Borg Cube Unicron when?

"You cannot destroy our Destiny. Resistance to Oblivion is futile. We are Unicron."

    Do want.

I think the design intent there is that the warp drives are still usable in bot mode. And that a more complex integration of them into robot mode would damage their usability. But otherwise if it were a camouflaged design/hiding as one as opposed to having to still have access to working tech parts, I'd agree.

You're entirely correct on how the design is supposed to be simple because of toon design origins.

I dig the warp drive "cape" myself, cause it means Fort Max/Tiberius can do a Warp 8 kick or punch. City bot strength, starfleet speed. That's a new mach punch.

That's kind of amazing. Silly, but amazing. The name is a bit goofy though, but I suppose the alternatives, off the top of my head, aren't much better ("Fortress Enterprise" or "Fortress Constitution" aren't that great, nor are they great if you put "Maximus" on the end instead).

I hope those nacelles can be used as giant shoulder cannons.

It's neat that this is official, but the design could be better.

This stirs a nerdrage in me that i thought was long gone.

I dislike it for a bunch of reasons.

Considering this takes place in g1 and not idw which is much more detail looking bots it’s not bad but it could be better glad there finally imputing ships into transformers if people don’t like design they should have hope for idw taking on this series where bots look more complex in detail in bot mode compared to cartoon comic g1 bots we see in this series

If it wasn’t for wings on back almost look like unicron if you stare at ship core in chest long enough

I wonder if the crew has to abandon ship when Tiberius transforms.

The nacelles on the back remind of of the titan Fortress Maximus commandeered in the MTMTE/TR story.  It\'s hard to find a good pic to compare, though.

Could have been a fembot. The Enterprise was often referred to as a woman by Kirk.

By that logic, Seaspray and a myriad of other boatformers would've been fembots as seafaring vessels are often christened and referred to as females...

Ships are often referred to as "she" in the common language.

I like this design, it could be actual transforming toy. Yeah, it's simple and not very detailed... But that's why it falls in line with G1 and ST cartoon designs.

I'd buy this over the Millennium Falcon Duocons any day.

I want Star Trek/Transformers figures since I've noticed how TNG/DS9/ENT-styled Klingon looks TLK Voy Megatron alt mode.

No. Then Kirk would have an excuse to seduce his own ship. LOL.
