    Very awesome. Star Saber looks beastly. Definitely going to get him despite my being unfamiliar with the character and the series he appears in. Sometimes a cool toy is still a cool toy. :D 

    If this wasn't Masterpiece (and instead Classics) I was going to suggest that Takara retool the mold and give us Overlord.

    Wheeljack look great too, as does Scorponok.

    I still have no interest in this, but I can see how/why the Star Saber fans are so happy.

    I don't know the Victory cartoon but this thing is too bad ass to pass up. Saber's jet mode is awesome, and Star Saber's bot mode is cool too. I wouldn't want to be left scrambling for this guy if/when they do Victory Leo. Does the larger part still have a battle station mode?

    No. I believe that the battle station mode has been scrapped.

    It was, and it's included...if you consider that the "battle station" is just a folded up armor not used with the regular Saber bot.

    Oh wow that Brainsmaster gimmick is so cool. The shield reminds me so much of RX-78-2 Gundam's shield.

    Yeah, I just checked tfwiki, it seems that in the cartoon the battle station was just saber riding on top of the v-star with a couple of handlebars.

    yeah, saber looks fantastic as usual.

    but.. is that really DMK prime?.. they've changed quite a bit of it.. if it is him, it looks a whole lot better. the head is a bit more blue and the smokestacks are much much better. i can't wait for it.

    That's not the DMK. The DMK is still a letdown in comparison to the old DMK Optimus. Just like every single TF4 figures (except evasion op)

    I remember seeing an image of the upcoming book or magazine, and in it it was stated the battle station mode was omitted. Can't remember where I am afraid.
