I bought the Deluxe class Sideswipe, Sideways, and Bumblebee late yesterday. Sideswipe looks and works fantastically. Sideways is pretty good too, just a step below Sideswipe in terms of form and function. With that said, I'm getting really p.o.ed at Bumblebee.

I'm a fan of the new camaro, so I was excited about Bumblebee's toy. I thought it was odd that they packaged him in robot mode while most others are packaged in vehicle mode. I think I now know why. I can't get the camaro to "lock" together at all! The thing just isn't fitting together no matter how hard I try. Anyone else having difficulty with Bumblebee collapsing into his camaro form?

I'm afraid I may need an advanced video tutorial on youtube or something...

Don't worry, mine doesn't either, mainly the back part of it, I just leave mine in robot mode.

I have problems with my new Bee as well. Same problem I have with my movie1 Cliffjumper and Stealth Bumblebee. The automorph is way too sturdy that it just doesn't work.

My movie1 concept Camaro Bee works fine :(

That mold has probably started to degrade considering it's the tenth or something time they retool/repaint it.

Just wait for the new Cannon Bumblebee mold.

Cannon Bumblebe keeps the same dodgy legs though, so no help there.

But the problems isn't in the legs, it's in the chest. Cannon Bee seems to have a different chest :) .

At least they probably healed the steel mold for that release instead of exploding it even more.

Thank God for YouTube, it's the only way I got Leader Prime transformed last night. He's back in robot mode and staying that way. lol.

May not be anything to do with degredation, that mold was always shit. I'm hoping that the cannon version will be better, and hopefully the HA version won't have any of the problems the Deluxe did.

It's the gears in the legs, or rather just his right leg for me. They're improperly placed and need to be clicked once forward. I huess they just shoved him into the box (which is where he terrified "let me out!" pose and expression come in) and didn't think about what could happen.

Shame, he really is cool. (Properly painted eyes and he has one awesome head sculpt) But it took a lot of fanaggeling to get him right, and even then I just take the gun off to make things easier.

Mine seemed to have problems locking into car mode, but after fiddling with it for a bit I got it to lock just fine. It was enough of a pain in the ass that I don't see myself transforming him back to a car again any time soon.

I've never had problems with my Stealth Bumblebee or Cliffjumper until recently. Something was wrong with Cliffjumper's automorph. He had been on display in robot mode for about 6 months, so he probably got some dust in his Automorph. I guess I just didn't dust him off properly.

I'll be fiddling with it some more after work, trying some of the things mentioned here (shift legs forward, removing gun, etc.) At least the photos posted here indicate that it is possible.

If I wasn't such an admirer of the new camaro, I'd just leave him in robot mode (which looks really great). But I really want some of that vehicle mode goodness. Thanks.

It takes a bit to fully lock in my BB's legs and the back of the car properly, but I did it. Not sure how just yet...
