I'm still loving Snarl.

 

Yeah Snarl the Lettuceasaurus is still a buy for me. I'm trying to resist but Bumblebee looks darn decent too.

 

If Hot Shot was named Tracks people would be way more all about it.

 

it annoys me terribly that they couldn't put some swivels on the forearms to hide the hands in the forearm/dino leg. I've ben collecting since 85 and I thought armada or energon would be the worst lines I've seen but now this series upsets me. Not because they are ugly because the energon and Armada lines were ugly, but this new shortcut taking "make it cheaply who really cares" attitude pisses me off. At least Armada and Energon still show effort. Its happening allover the world also, If you want to find something made to last you have to buy it 10 years old. Craftsmanship and Quality are endangered ideals at this point. and I believe this line is really doing its best to represent it. these figures could have been so much more ,I mean they could have been epic if any care was taken at all.

If you have a concern about it, just make sure the top of the star isn't pointing downward

Hot shot would've been cool in armada colors. The goggles could be seen as an homage albeit not intentionally.

 

Someone at Hasbro is confusing names,lol. That is NOT HotShot, it's freaking Tracks.

 

The only thing that disappoints me about Snarl as of yet is that he's a Deluxe where I thought he was a Voyager. I must have misread the post that his toy was revealed in.

Still buying it. I need my nuclear green lettuce dino.

 

You can call the figure whatever you like. Right now I have generations Sergeant Shitpiece standing proudly on my desk.

 

Bee and Snarl both look decent. The Tracks colors on the Crosshairs mold puts me in mind of a horribly sunburned man wearing an old white leather football 'helmet'.

 

Not feeling Snarl anymore for some reason. I don't remember the green being as off putting for me. A little more black would have helped.  





Hot shot is a pass for me b/c of mold not colors. Looks like he was stung by a few hundred bees. Bumblebee (haha) is a maybe.

 

I'm liking Snarl and Bumblebee (since I know that Bumblebee's arms do transform), but, even though Hot Shot is a nice repaint, he just doesn't have enough silver/grey in his robot mode for him to feel like a Movie figure.

 

Maybe they didn't use the name 'Tracks' because there are already vehicles called 'Trax' linked to the film and they did not want to confuse issues.
Bee and Snarl look OK. Not sold on Hot Shot.

 

Not sure how I feel about PENTAGRAM BEE...  

Toxitron Snarl is a win, though!   I like it because it looks so different and off. And damn ye all who keep popping on the boards to condemn the colors! COLORS ARE BLASPHEMY!!! BLASPHEMY!!!!

(I think we should stick to the safe grays and browns. Am I right, guys?!  )

Yeah, now that you mention it... that IS the big pink elephant in the room. Mixing G1 colors with movie-verse designs... ehhh...  

 

Does bee's battle mask flip down? I'll probably just get BB from this wave to be honest.

And I'm sure reprolabels will release flame stickers for Hot Shot--and then everyone can call him Tracks

 

What about Stinger?

 

on a side note, Snarl needs his G1 colors, a new head and better proportioned body. spindly is not a good look.
