I think it's a different designer as well as a new company name on this, so I wouldn't be too quick to assume this is gonna be on the level of previous TE releases. It has potential but I need to see what some final product looks like before I get too excited

 

Fanstoys must be stopped no matter the cost  

 

Well competition is good for the consumer. Right now, IMO, Fanstoys is way above the rest and the prices reflect that.

 

The prices certainly reflect the money whales that are their consumer base, more so than them as an actual company/product.

I've had missing parts on multiple products including TE-01.

Their Mirage had incorrectly assembled thighs and plenty of people received a copy with at least half of the engine block missing.

Are they afraid of trying to go cartoon accurate proportionally? Seems like the Robots mode is too "anthromorphed" or proportioned more inline with say "Prime." I would prefer a longer ab section and a shorter chest. I know... I know... lots of folks are complaining about Takara's new Starscream because it looks too cartoony. For me it's not a bad thing if you call it "MP."

I guess their worker just wants to avoid using transformation, and looks up online-dictionary by searching  \"变形\" and found deformation, which seems like transformation and also means \"变形\" in Chinese；

I dunno there's a certain flea market KO charm to using deformation.   I'm more interested in these companies using one name for one company for a reasonable period of time so we know what the hell is going on than what the name actually is.

I\'m super excited for this, but I have to bring up one thing. Why haven\'t any third parties made (or started working on) a masterpiece G1 Bumblebee? There seems to be a pattern: MP-44 is revealed, we get MS and TE right on it. MP-52 is revealed, we get these guys with theirs. But when that god awful 2.0 Bee was revealed, the closest we got in 3P action were some tiny legends. I really hope a company like this (if they\'re good quality and price) gets on that.

One thing though that I may have a bit of apprehension on later down the line is that smiling face. Definitely is one of those situations where it might end up looking better when actual prototypes show up.

“Deformation Space” sounds like what we’d call TFW in the Into the Spider-Verse timeline.

 

A few details missing aside, I think this figure looks pretty great overall. The only thing that sort of irks me is the fact that they chose Ramhorn over Steeljaw. From what I remember in G1, Steeljaw was the prominent Recordabot of the group Blaster had with him, and Steeljaw even talked in an episode I think..? Don't quote me on this though, I'm in the process of re-watching G1 lol.

 

DEFORMERS! space bots in disguise!

 

Ramhorn looks good. Blaster looks... very... aesthetically primitive. I would never have shown the CAD in this state. I hope there will be a great deal of refinement as the design progresses.
