Here are some beauty shots of him with Optimus and Megatron.. hmm. If they ever do a Megatron I may have to get it. Since I own TE01 Ver 2, it may be worth while to get something in a similar aesthetic. The MP36 and MP44 do compliment one another. More so than it does my MP36 with TE01..

Now my DS01 has arrived from Showz. But I pulled the old “Why yes I know honey what that package is you’ve text me while I’m at work. Don’t open it! It’s a Xmas present from my brother. He said I’d like it. “ so sadly I have to wait to check its status and paint apps. But come Xmas I’m going to be like a kid again. I’ll no doubt watch a G1 episode while I fiddle with my Crimson Wing. lol

I agree. That upgrade kit plus @Bugste81 Null Rays are perfect add-ons for this figure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a miscoloured Thundercracker or Skywarp but I don’t recall either one of them do it either.

 

I wish they'd taken the spikey round thing from the front of his wings and mounted it to the wings themselves, maybe swiveling around onto the back like on MT. Having that not be attached to the whole arm assembly would greatly simplify transformation and take out the main source of paint ruining scratches I've seen in videos.

Looks like he is selling a set for 148 yuan (US$23). It's pretty pricy, considering this is almost 25% of the figure's price on TaoBao if you pre-order.

It sure looks good, though.

Looking at the Hasbro Pulse Youtube version, this occurs at 16:22. By this point Thundercracker and Skywarp are definitely battling Autobots in Washington, D.C. At the same time Starscream must have escaped Atlantis because by 17:07 he's finally jogged over to King Nergill. So who is that at 16:22 with the wrist rockets? Could either be a mis-colored Thundercracker/Skywarp or it really could be Starscream just entering the battle on his way to tattle on King Nergill to Megatron.

Either way it's a cool little feature that is never seen again. Somewhat like the lazer-beam headlights that the Autobots sported in one episode. Let's hope fans don't' start demanding blast effects to fit all the Autobot headlights. With the way Seekers hands always fold back into the forearms I don't see how anyone could make the missile launcher fold out of the wrist without compromising the hand. Just doesn't seem to be enough room at MP scale.

This is pretty neat, but isn't this basically just pulling an MP-52 and making "sandwich" wings as well at this point? Granted it looks cleaner but still.

I'm actually pretty new to the 3rd party game, any reason why companies just seem to switch names quickly after a few releases? Do lawsuits immediately come after them or something?
