Following on from Devastator/Superion/Predaking I've decided to do another Defensor but this time just build the torso bot so he is bigger and more in proportion than the standard third party combiner (like the previous mentioned three). Started building yesterday and painting today, I wanna try and have him finished by the weekend before Streetwise gets here. Thinking of having two chest shields as depending on where you look it looks quite small or pretty big. The small one I think should look ok with the G1 plate (if I can find it at a decent price), the bigger one I've already built as you can see by the painting pics. Checking the body isn't too long with a Superion arm: Test fitting the bigger chest plate: I'm thinking too big for my tastes but it does fit some depictions of him. I'm convinced the G1 chest plate will look perfect when looking at this:
Small update: Big chest plate is growing on me put shall be looking for the G1 version aswell. I think it won't look so huge when he is wider and taller with limbs.
Does hasbro keep manufacturing unicrons just for you lol? Looks good but i agree, smaller chestplate would look better
Torso is pretty much done now...just gotta attch the TFC male ports. Hopefully get Gumball and what I'm going to be using for Groove next week then the wait for the arms.....
