When several TF DVD sets were approaching release, people have brought up Deepdiscountdvd.com and how good they're prices are. With Beast Machines rapidly approaching, I'd consider buying from them since their current price is really good at $36 for the set. Before I buy from them, though, I wanted to check to see if other people have, in general, been satisfied buying from them.

 

I've never personally bouth from them but there are quite a few people on here who have and love them.

 

I've purchased from them many times.
I've gotten everything well packaged and have had no problems w/ the shipping either.

They are exceptional. But just remember if you choose the free shipping, they will use media mail. Which could take as much as 10 business days to arrive.

 

Yes, they're great. I rarely buy DVDs anywhere else.

 

That's not much of a concern to me. I just wasn't quite sure if they're low prices were balanced out by either poor service or poor shipping practices (as in poor packaging jobs, so DVDs would arrived in damaged boxes or cases).

With the positive response to them so far, it seems like I'll probably be ordering my Beast Machines set from them.

 

I bought all three seasons of beast wars from them when they were released for dirt cheap. and i just bought Street fighter alpha and generations from them for under $13.00 a piece. I always use the free shipping option and my DVD's arrive in perfect shape. I really like that store they have always come through for me.  

 

I too have ordered from them several times and had no problems. The packaging is always great!

 

Don't bother with the free shipping, it's a real crapshoot.

 

Never had a problem with them at all and they usually have pretty good deals.

 

I've used the free shipping dozens and dozens of times and never had a single problem. My stuff always arrives in perfect condition.

If you can wait, they also have bi-annual 20% off sales, which make their already great prices even lower.

 

I've bought from them many times, and I'd recommend shopping there. The only problems I've ever had were a dvd here or there that was missing from the case. In one case I got my money back, in the other I didn't feel like dealing with it (one dvd was missing from a box set so I just rebought the single). Oh, and those missing dvds had the top security sticker missing which makes me think that it wasn't the manufacturer's fault. Those were isolated incidents though, they just stop me from giving an absolutely flawless recommendation.

 

Ive ordered from them a bunch. They're great. I use free shiping, and the only problem is that it can take a while to get my stuff. Other than that, the're really good.

 

I have ordered dozens of DVD's from them (even more if you add my wife to the mix) and only recently had a problem, and even this is fairly unique circumstances.

Order from them, and then wait for the semi-annual sales offers in your mailbox.

 

I don't know, they aren't always the cheapest. Sometimes Amazon.com is cheaper (if you get the $25 free shipping) and it arrives faster.

But from my personal experience with service, their media mail takes from 10 days to 3 weeks.
They once sent me a wrong DVD: Horatio Hornblower instead of Macross (WTF?!). They totally dragged their feet in helping me out. They told me that I would get an immediate refund, this took over a week. Then when they received the DVD back from me, they told me they would ship the correct DVD Priority, it came media.

 

In the last 2 months i've ordered over $1,000 in DVDs and everything is always fine. They're the best place around.

I've placed several orders from them. I didn't find out about them until Season 2 part 1, so I ended up paying more for Season 1.
I've also never had a problem with the shipping or the quality of the items. Only bad thing that ever happened ( and it wasn't really bad ) was that I ordered several items and the order took forever to be shipped. When it checked it, one item was on backorder and they held it all. Eventually they cancelled that one item and shipped the rest. Problem: Why list an item on your site if it's not in your inventory? Not a real big deal though.
