Which Decepticons do you think that can beat Megatron on 1vs1 or 2vs1 like could starscream and soundwave together beat Megatron etc?

 

Overload, Shockwave (in some continuities), Predaking, Deathsaurus, Galvatron.

 

Any of them, with a lucky shot.

 

Overlord

 

Overlord is the kind of guy who can beat Megatron in a straight fight with his sheer size and power like a big bully. Megatron just has him beat in firepower and skills to turn that against him. Not saying that he can't beat Megatron, but on a level of strength he can top that. Which is why I liked it in the IDW comics where Megatron has a way to say "no u" when one of his strongest fighters decides to betray him.

 

Megatron vs Tarn would be really interesting fight to see

 

Have you read the comics? They do fight.

 

Shockwave

 

In a G1 fight I think Shockwave could win, Soundwave possibly, yes with all five original G1 cassettes (part of Soundwave's power). All combiners could but like Shockwave and Soundwave are too loyal to Megatron. Going by original G1 lore, Megatron is one of the most powerful transformers ever created and he is basically an undefeated, undisputed, heavyweight champion of Cybertron (Megatron excelled in 1 on 1 combat, OP only won due to being the good guy hero).

Scorponok and also Trypitcon, sheer size and firepower way above Megatron. Scorponok more so then Trypitcon, due to Zarak controlling Scorponok.

 

I think Lockdown could defeat Megatron if he were determined enough.

All Combiners would win by sheer strength. But who knows. Maybe Megatron could outsmart them. He ain't Decepticon Leader for his brawn alone, right?

Dunno about these guys but they seem like strong potential opponents for the Tron:

3. Megatronus/The Fallen
4. Shockwave
5. Nemesis Prime
6. Scorponok

continuity wise, if it's the movie verse, Devastator hands down,
G1, Trypticon, Shockwave, Galvatron II

 

I'd actually like to see that fight. Soundwave showed a remarkable level of durability in the Marvel comics. I don't think he and his cassettes would be enough to beat him, as Megs went toe to toe with all the Dinobots pretty easily. Still Soundwaves team has a pretty diverse power set, with a coordinated attack maybe they could pull it off.

This keeps coming up here, it's definitely heavily based on which continuity we're talking about. G1 toon absolutely combiners are beasts, but most comic iterations I'd have to bet on Megatron. Predaking is arguably the most powerful combiner and Megatron took him down alone.

 

Galvatron, but he'd better be from a parallel universe  

 

Following the g1 toon continuity, I'd say all the combiners, city bots, Galvatron, Sixshot, Overlord, Deathsaurus can defeat Megatron, even easily for some of them.

 

When all Decepticons fought in the stadium in Triple Takeover I always assumed that by smart and firepower ,Megatron defeated Devastator. It wasn't 1 vs 1 but there Megatron won.
But maybe in second half of season, Devastator had lost the strenght of a true combiner, we all know a lot of situations   .

Menasor and Bruticus would win ,and about Shockwave,that Marvel page is always a pleasure to read   ;for toon only, Shockwave could also win but would be a very difficult fight so chances are for Megatron,he remains a little stronger and more suited to 1 Vs 1.

 

Lets see...if Megatron was an old man and was tied to a wall with his legs wrenched off i reckon that Starscream would almost have a fair chance of beating him.

Nah, jokes aside lol I always thought that Sixshot would give Megs a good go for his money.
