I have been a long time watcher (not lurker). I am a thrifty buyer, only buying the best transformers. (i.e. mostly alternators) The problem that I have when looking at my collection is that I don't have all that many really cool looking desepticons...(energon shockwave is the best looking since G1, in my opinion). I am looking forward to cybertron soundwave, but that is about it...where are the equivalents of EVAC, the vanguard team, cybertron prime, vector prime, cybertron downshift, and primus? Megatron has always looked kind of ....dumb...(a silly looking race car; a dinosaur; a un-impressive tank?) c'mon, make him look EVIL, like he WILL kill you in an alt. mode! Opinions? PEACE!

 

energon mirage. bad-ass boat. energon sharkticon is pretty sweet too.

 

I LOVE Cybertron Scourge too... not to mention either form of Starscream!

 

Cyb Mudflap is pretty cool, too.

I agree, we need a decent Megs. I find the current one to be a bit goofy looking, in any mode.

 

You might wanna check back on the Energon line. the Decepticons were (on average) cooler than the Autobots in that line IMO.

Energon and Cybertron Galvatrons are good buys. Great color scheme to go along with a good toy mold. Cyb Sideways, D. Crumplezone, Sharkticon, E Mirage, Armada & Cyb Starscream, Cyb Scourge: All good Decepticons. But I agree it's still lacking overall compares to Autobots. The best Decepticon toy to come out after G1 is RiD Scourge and even that is a repaint of a Autobot. Come on Takara how about showing the bad guys some love?

 

All the starscream molds have been great so far! Armada Thrust was cool. Cyb Sideways and Mudflap are awsome molds.

 

Most of the Energon Decepticons were pretty cool. Starscream, Shockblast/Sixshot, Galvatron, Bruticus Maximus, the bird terrocon. Cybertron has some good ones too, Starscream, Sideways, Scourge, Soundwave, Scrapmetal. Plus all the new Universe Ultras are decepticons.

 

I like Cyb Galvatron myself. And as already mentioned, Energon Cons are nice, since they didn't have to have that Powerlink gimmick.

 

Cybertron Galvatron is most impressive.

I also love Energon Sharkticon, so much in fact that I bought multiples. One of the best deluxes ever.

 

the cybertron lin really has been a dissapointment for decepticons.with the exception of galvatron starscream and a few of the basics like swindle. energon did give a lot to like though. wanna see some cool decepticons then just go to the kitbash section.
