While due to Megatron pulling a TFA Galvatron and 50 other KSI robots became Decepticons essentially, though sparkless, there are 12 confirmed Cybertronian Decepticons left on Earth that Attinger could not find. Its a setup really for Galvatron is to gather these remaining Decepticons in a future sequel. Whether they'll recognize him as their leader is the question.
This is a good way to bring in the Combaticons since they're pretty much army vehicles in disguise and possibly they were hiding when they founded that out Megatron is dead and then bring Cyclonus and Scourge with the Sweeps into action.
Galvatron crafty I'll give him that. He'll figure something out in the next one, and if not he could always work with the Quintessons.
Hopefully that the two headed Shockwave will gain real sentience and intelligence. Also, why was Shockwave more purple in this movie than the actual Shockwave? He looked great, I don't see why they had to make DOTM Shockwave so washed out.
My hope is that, with Galvatron running around fully repaired, movie 5 will open with the Decepticons and Autobots both at near full strength and there will be little 'build up' to their fights... start off with the secret war.
I still think by "decepticons" attinger meant the autobots who he wasn't supposed to be hunting so he wouldn't get in trouble
On a side note Galavatron could've used a better line raising his troops. Instead of "Rise my brothers" he could've said "Decepticons Transform and Rise up!".
I'm kind of hoping that Galvatron reformats himself into a military vehicle. Also, it would be interesting to see Cyclonus and Scourge come back, or possibly have some of the Decepticons revived (if even possible). It's kinds of hard to say with Prime leaving to pursue his 'creators' (Quintessons, anyone?)
I kind of hope Galvatron and the new Vehicons settle into traditional transformations next film. As is, they are kind of nanite swarm creatures.
