Well...it's been a couple months and I feel like I really need to get back in the customizing bot saddle. And, as show here, I can't get enough of customizing POTP Wreck-Gar, I started on a G2 Road Pig Custom. Awhile back I was looking up different motorcycle bots and stumbled across his bio and loved him purely from a Beavis & Butthead standpoint.

    Bio:
The electricity doesn't quite complete the circuit with this one, if you get the meaning. Road Pig is brutish and moronic—he wasn't assigned the duty of "Autobot Harassment" because the role needed to be filled, but because it was probably the only function he was capable of completing. This thug is even unpopular among his fellow Decepticons. His fellow soldiers tolerate him because they can count on Road Pig to annoy their enemies in combat, and maybe take some fire instead of them, but they know he's not helping them intentionally: Road Pig just can't stop being a pain-in-the-manifold. With no known friends and a function that just invites the Autobots to shoot at him, it's a wonder he's lasted this long. As Omega Supreme might say, "Processing circuitry: slow; Intelligence: minimal."

While not an exact match and more of a homage to him, I managed to shift things around and nip and tuck to make him work and still transform just fine.

Still need to prime and paint and he should be gtg.

Thanks! I'm still tweaking him a bit for his " Final Form." I mean he's mostly black with red and gold touches, so painting should be a snap!

Finally done! New bot for a new year!

I switched the light up sword for a flamethrower...I felt it was a better fit for his personality.

Very nice job. The alt mode looks especially fine. Those rims   <3
But what happened at the windshield? Is the smudgy look intended?
And how much partsforming is involved in the transformation?

The windshield... let's just say I tried to remove the Autobot logo printed on it...unsuccessfully, so I had to paint over it. the Partsforming isn't bad, just pop the guns on the back to his back tires, and his front tire off his back onto the slot. I added a 5mm peg to his combiner dealie on his (now) back and a 5mm hole for it on the side of the front tire so I can peg them together easily. The blowtorch can unpeg from the 5mm peg and theres a tiny mm peg on the side that pegs into the elbow in cycle mode.

Okay so a bit more partsforming thanusual, but if you dont include weapons, just the front tire

So did the windshield deform under the influence of the paint removing chemical or is it really just the golden paint?

Yea, I don't really count weapons as partsforming as long as they are not part of the robot mode's body (structure). The new Cyberverse Deluxe class Megatron's cannon for example is a bit of parts forming because his cannon belongs to his body (as far as I know) but I could imagine him just grabbing and relocating it during transformation as soon as his left arm is transformed. I do the same for my IDW/R.I.D. Impactor custom :D

I used a Dremel and basically scratched the living hell out of the windshield so the paint was a fix. I actually have a backup windshield I may try and repaint for this.

Yea, sometimes my Dremel does more bad than good. I really need to buy 1.000 or 2.000 grid sandpaper.

Maybe it's like:"You'll as soon as you need it." :p
    Or just watch a tutorial.
I got the old set of my father and it includes polish discs, grinding discs, jigsaws in different sizes, drills, a disc shaped brushes, several grinding heads and some are even soft which unbalances the rotation what is pretty weird. I have no clue what those are for.

Same here, I got the whole shebang from my sister in law for Xmas at the behest of my wife. I now have to learn how to use that, plus the airbrush my wife got me for xmas.

    Time to level up! ⬆️

Absolutely, I bought an airbrush in December, too. It's a "cheap" one with a small mobile compressor you can charge via USB. So it's not high class and not meant for painting (fine) details but it's very quite and I wanted it for coating in particular because I don't want to buy a spray can for every color. And if I want to airbrush some details or specific areas I'll just mask the surrounding area. If I want to get deeper into it I can still buy a big compressor with adjustable air supply.
