Has anyone else noticed that the jet has Grey/Black on him which means the car mode will be blue and the Helicopter mode would be Grey/Black .

I think Dropkick is the helicopter and Shatter is a plane.

HELL YEAH! I'm so glad they're new Decepticons!
They look dope as hell. Gimme the toys, Hasbro.

Also, is it just me, or would it be cooler if they were Duocons instead of Triple Changers. Since the movie takes place in 1987, it would be such an awesome reference to the debut of Battletrap and Flywheels, who also were released in '87.

I think you're right, those look just like Harrier parts on Shatter.

As I mentioned in the other thread, it's extremely unlikely that a robot turns into a 15 foot car and a 46 foot jet.

I'm curious how that would work too. Are there any jets with those parts that are closer to car-size? These definitely look more like Earth jet parts than some kind of Cybertronian jet.

My guess is that it's going to be a small plane that shares many similarities with a Harrier, but will obviously not be an authentic Harrier.

Could be a small part at the closing end of the movie, or could be in an after credit scene

Nope what? You don't think it's possible? Transformers have mass shifted even in all 5 movies, so what's the problem here?

Ooookay? I'm just saying, mass shifting is the simplest and most obvious solution to get around the size difference problem, so I feel like the probability of that being the case is very high.

I think mass-shifting should be divided up into two different categories. The first type being Ant-man-style shrinking (e.g. G1 Soundwave), and the second type being animation cheats/errors that we're not supposed to notice (e.g. movieverse Lockdown). I consider them very different things, because one is a technology that exists in-universe and the other is just artistic license that doesn't actually exist in-universe.

Have we seen any true mass-shifting (the first type) in the movies outside of the Allspark and Quintessa's Staff? Maybe Nitro Zeus and Quintessa herself, but even they seem questionable. If these Decepticons go from car to full sized jet, it might be the first example of true movieverse mass-shifting.

I guess there's a distinction, but I'd argue that Blackout and Starscream were definitely (if unintentionally) doing the former. An 88 foot long helicopter transforming into a 30 foot robot seems like mass shifting to me.
