Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen, otherwise known as "The Red Barron" was a true "Ace" He had over 80 confimed kills in his short life. He was finally brought down by a single bullett, it is up for debate wether that tragic shot was fired by Canadian Capt. Arthur Brown or an Anti-Aircraft round. It is said that after he brought his plane safely to the ground his final word was "KAPUTT".

As soon as I saw the scout class mold for Ransack I knew what had to be done....RED BARRON! Granted the Barron had a tri-winged plane but this will do nicely perhaps one day I will do it justice and give him that third wing.

Painted with automotive paints and clears with my trusty Iwata.

are the original pictures small? in other words, when you view them on your computer (not through your browser) are they large? if so, then you don't need to re-shoot them, and the problem is that you're not linking them properly.

 

if I click on that right there, it's not small at all. Just totally out of focus. does your camera have a macro setting? If so you really need to turn it on (usually indicated by a yellow flower icon, though some have a capital M inside a box). This is for really close-up photographs. If you don't, then stand a good 4-5 feet away to snap the pics, and then when you put them onto your computer (BEFORE you upload to the internet) crop them so that all the wasted space of the pic is gone an all you're left with is the transformer you're shooting.

Actually, historically speaking, you're okay - Von Richtofen scored the majority of his kills in a plane almost exactly like the one Ransack turns into (the biggest difference being that no WW1 plane would have had guns mounted on one wing and bombs on the other)

He looks good, really like how it looks with his weapons painted. your paint looks good and smooth. Shame the robot shots are so blurry, but the alt shots turned out good.

Thank you! Airbrush is the way to go unless you are going for the "weathered" look. Then again it can also be accomplished with air.

This is too cool. I really hope that we get a repaint like this...and a bunch more to follow. He really is a cool little feller.
