I was inspired by a recent project one of the people I subscribe to on YouTube did, and started learning design for 3D printing.

This is the first thing I took a stab at because it seemed like it'd be simple enough to do, and I've always thought it's a cool and unique weapon for a fun character. She's never been packaged with it, though TAV21 comes with an inaccurate one and there is a simplified one from a designer on Shapeways.

I designed it in Fusion 360 in a couple of hours with the help of this tutorial. It arrived in the mail today and I spent the afternoon painting it. I think it turned out great and It's a pretty awesome feeling holding an object in my hands that started off in my head.
