Outside of any gifts I may or may not get for Christmas, I'm done with 2022. Christmas Optimus Prime was my final 2022 purchase

Well this is a nice surprise!

Snagged a G1 Omega Supreme -Missing the Track Pieces- so will have to hunt those up to get it completed and 1 rear tab but it will display nicely in Robot Mode.

I am happy to finish up with that Figure -Cancelled the remaining preorders I had for 2022 so I'm pretty satisfied to have Omega coming!

G1 Omega Cost me about the same price as a 3rd Party Omega Supreme I was interested in so decided to go with the G1 Version for now and pick up that 3rd Party Omega when it gets released.

 

Looks like Legacy TM2 Megatron is my final Transformer of the year, barring a surprise preorder drop or gift.

 

My last figure is probably going to be Haslab Star Saber, who is supposed to arrive literally any minute now.

 

Last figure do far is Legacy Inferno!

 

Armada Starscream and Victory Saber. And Reprolabelling Legacy Scourge and my G1 Jumpstarters.

 

Last couple of weeks I've gotten Legacy BW Inferno, Holiday Prime and Victory Saber, and Legacy TM2 Megatron is enroute and due this weekend (but will probably most likely deliver on Monday), and that will be my last figure of the year barring any random early shipments of stuff like Legacy Evolution W1.

 

Walmart made me a liar. Had to jump on a $25 Override

 

I've got a Legacy Armada Starscream and TM2 Megatron in my BBTS Pile, but I won't ship them this year, so I don't count that. Also backed Deathsaurus, but similarly, I won't be getting that this year, so ditto.

The only things I've picked up recently are Legacy Kickback and Coronation Starscream. Barring a wildcard, that's probably it for me this year.

I was really back and forth on Kickback, since I've already got the FoC and Titan Returns Kickbacks, and didn't think I need another one. Also seemed kinda simple to me. But, in hand, he's alot more satisfying than I was expecting. Also really helps that the giant swords he comes with (which I was expecting to hate), can plug together and make a thorax for his bug mode. That really did it for me.

I got Coronation Starscream at a massive discount from Walmart, so I finally decided to give him a shot. I knew I liked the Earthrise seeker mold, but I've already got Starscream, so I didn't think I needed this guy. BUUUUUT... if I think of it as buying an upgrade kit for my Earthrise Starscream, then the chair, the shoulders, the crown, and the cape are much easier to swallow at $30. I'd probably pay similar prices for that from a 3P company. I'm also like, in love with the cape. Like, I love how it's solid plastic, but they gave it joints, so it's actually posable. Way better than either a solid piece, or a difficult-to-deal-with cloth cape.

 

Legacy TM2 Megatron and Inferno

 

I'm getting Bumblebee Movie Thundercracker and Target Tonkanator for Christmas.

 

Welp, he went on clearance. I also got Legacy TM2 Megatron on sale, but he won't ship until January.

 

Is 3P welcome?
D-Zef C, IF Grimlock and MMC Optus new remold are on their way...if they somehow won't make it this month, I'll be finishing with DLX Soundwave.

 

Victory Saber showed up last Saturday and can't top that!! I also have PointBlank displayed proudly as well as MDLX Optimus. Then I have my faves from the last few years prominently displayed.

Maybe I snag Skullgrin before 2023 launches, but truthfully I'm real happy with how things are right now.

 

Victory Saber wrapped up the "planned" last Transformer of 2022 for me. Unplanned was the Legacy Leader Class Galvatron I got from Hasbro since I had a paint defected Galaxy Shuttle from Pulse that couldn't be exchanged.

That should be it for 2022 unless we get another surprise pre-order dump which I would not be surprised in the least.

 

My first ever 3rd Party or MP style figure, Fans Hobby Ace Hitter. I ordered at the perfect time, BBTS was very quick and arrived three days early.

 

Unless some Christmas miracle happens and GameStop finds a Kingdom Ultra Magnus to complete my order, it looks like my last figure for 2022 is the diaclone Ironhide.
Also picked up a second Rumble this month.

So two unnecessary purchases made completely because they were cheap. That sums up my collecting this year pretty well.

Edit: Forgot my half price Wreck-hat and Sweeps…further proving the point.

 

Legacy Inferno, and Studio Series The Last Knight Hot Rod and Crosshairs will be it for me this year.
Already got Hot Rod and Inferno (both stored away for Christmas); Crosshairs is on his way from Amazon, should be getting him on Saturday
