I just spent two hours thawing out my washing machine, it was frozen solid.

The high today is going to be 18. -_-

 

We're expecting the first snow of the winter tomorrow morning, and I've got a 2-mile walk to work.  

 

Pfft, wimps. It's -10 here, and guys are going around in shorts and t-shirts.

Not me, though. I have my Spiderman hoodie. You may remember it from my time in the Juxtice league.


Also, there are waffle houses in Canada. I saw one on the way to Montréal once. It was called Denny's. I only ever saw the one, though.

 

It actually snowed twice at my house last night. Once at about 9:00 pm, last about 15 minutes and never amounted to anything. The second time at about 2:45 am-3:30 am but never amounted to anything either.

 

Denny's and the "Waffle House" we were talking about is not quite the same. Waffle House is a specific chain down here, just called Waffle House

I went to Denny's on my birthday.

I had a choice of any restaurant, and for some reason I picked Denny's.

Good. I love Denny's.

 

Well, I mean at least they bring the food to you there. You could have gone to a Popeyes and had to wait for them to call your name out.

Waking up to -7 this morning was fun. It was even more fun with the -20 wind chill.

What's funny to me is I see people here all bundled up like we're in the arctic. It's cool and there's heavy wind, but you don't need to layer up like it's a snow storm. It's only 30 or so, geez. Then, they walk all slow, the whole "I'M EFFIN FREEZIN" walk. Seems like, if you were so cold....you'd bust your ass to get inside, but no.

Sometimes I think people just like to complain. But that's ok, that gives ME something to complain about.
