Magneto Origins should still be made. But Deadpool....if they can keep it as he is in the comics, and not like at the finale of the movie I am sure alot of us saw, I'll dig it.
Isn't Deadpool supposed to look all tore up under that mask anyway? Like he was in the movie, minus the eye lasers and the two swords stuck in his arms?
Awesome! I thought Reynolds made a great Deadpool, I enjoy his acting and the movies he's been in, so I'm sold.
They can easily right out that stuff by saying his body eventually rejected them. They did mention he wasn't finished.
That's what I thought, so besides the eye beams and the swords, it was Deadpool as he is. A movie would be cool. Would have liked to see more of him before he became Weapon 11 tho.
"It is understood that Reynolds would regain the ability to mouth off, with the movie going back to the roots of the character known for his slapstick tone and propensity to break the fourth wall. The character also was disfigured in "Wolverine," though it's unclear at this time how much the studio would want to mess with Reynolds' handsome mug." Thank you. This makes me very very very happy. If Cable shows up...my head will explode!
If this does not suck, I will be a happy boy. If, however, it does, me and Takara_destron are going to Hollywood to fuck shit up, yo. Cos I'm a rabid Deadpool fanboy
You'll have to clarify "Done right" in terms of what you're currently expecting because this appears to be a spinoff of a character who was introduced in another spinoff movie. So prepare yourselves to be reintroduced to a similar character of that movie. We can definitely agree that with what we saw from Reynolds as Wade Wilson in the Africa scene of the Wolverine movie suggests that even in his Weapon XI look he could still breath life into the character. I expect FOX to maintain a similar likeness to their recent depiction of him on screen. I definitely don't have a problem with him teleporting naturally as opposed to technology as a result of the organic webshooters argument. I also think he will lose the optic blast as a result of the incomplete bonding process mentioned in the movie by the female doctor. Hopefully they will at least put him in costume, and like I heard a few others mention, he will break the 4th wall in the movie and say something to the effect of "WTF, who the hell put these ******ed things in my arms? I never had these in the comics. I could put my eyes out with these things" *Proceeds to rip them out of his arms somehow* and then things go back to everyone's favorite Merc with a mouth and fanboys can all live happily ever after
