Great game, although I sucked at it when I played it. It was fun. My brother and I couldn't kill the prisoners, though. They're a pain. Congrats on the achievement!

While I still think that Dead Rising has one of the best uses of Achievements, it is a little frustrating that they are all only worth 20 points.

You get the same amount of points for rescuing 50 people as you do for just running through the mall (Marathon Runner, I believe). It just doesn't seem right.

What was the largest group of survivors you escorted at one time?

Spoiler -but the game is over two years old and has been discussed at great length before.

Jesse survives if you do not go into overtime.
If you don't finish the last missions with Isabella she gets on the helicopter with (or without) you. If you do finish the last missions with Isabella she has a decidedly different fate.

 

Congrats on the Achievement! I have to agree w/ Smasher as the point values suck. I'm not sure if I'd rather have less Achievements worth higher point values based on their degree of difficulty to obtain or lots and lots of Achievements to choose from w/ smaller point values regardless of the difficulty.

Either way, great job. All of this makes me wanna take another stab at the overtime/survivor mode again...

 

I did that last week, with 51. Played through all the scoops and cases into overtime mode so no way to save Barnaby, Jessie, and Brad. May play through it again to get the B-ending and save them all but Barnaby.

At level 50, with the 3 books making the mini-chainsaws last 27 times longer than normal the game's a breeze  

 

the biggest time waster in the game are the boss fights, so before i attempted to get the saint achievement, i got the zombie genocider. i found that the real mega buster kills most bosses in 1 or 2 shots, giving you tons more time to rescue everyone.

does anyone know if its possible to save all 54 survivors?

and my biggest party was of 7, i found giving most of them handguns and waypoints kept the silliness to a minumum.

 

When I gave those bastards guns, the shot me in the elevator up to the roof  

 

dastards! the only one with a decent shot is kendell. still i got shotgunned a few times though.

 

Why do people keep saying it's a Greatest Hits? For months people have said this. And for months the price has remained $30 at Best Buy, Amazon, EB Games, etc. Or is that the Greatest Hits price?
