Removed the lame rubber cape & shield and replaced it and the shield. The shield is just glossy photo print, the folds in the neck part of the cape are hand stitched and the outside of the cape is kind of a metallic material
Looks good man, although I would suggest something rigid, like maybe some styrene for the chest shield. Definitely an improvement on that figure, and even on the re-release that had the transparent lenses.
I would love to use styrene, but there is no way I could get the "S" shield logo perfect and it would drive me nuts
If I end up having the time or whatnot, I could try to do it for you. I've been drawing the Superman logo for 20 years now. I think I have it down. I even have some yellow and red paint I could paint it up as well. That's gonna be after my secret project, which I will hopefully have done by the meetup.
