No problem, I just scored the entire wave for $67 shipped. I really didn't want the other figures too much, but it was worth it to get Atrocitus for under $20. Guy will eventually get a DCUC, so that's a plus. I just hope it's the modern version, and not his "Moe" haircut lol. Ultimately, I think it's a combination of DCUC and Blackest Night figures driving these their prices up. A lot of people (myself included) didn't want Salaak before DCUC started making Green and Yellow Lanterns, then Blackest Night figures started hitting and it dawned on most of us that the DCD will probably be the only large version of the character ever (and he is an awesome character, not just "some ant dude"). I seriously doubt DCUC will make a version of him, and if they did, he'd have to be a Matty exclusive.
Considering how the 4 Horsemen are going for "classic" versions of their characters, I think it's a pretty good chance Guy will have that awful bowl haircut.
I'm gonna preorder that Black Lantern Batman, it looks amazing. Good luck to you, finding the first wave, hope you track the ones you want fast.

I sincerely hope not. I love Guy, but the current version looks sooo much better. He's quite the badass in the GLC book, so he really shouldn't look like one of the 3 Stooges in a GL costume. And yes, I was buying JLI and GL(C) back in the day when Guy had that haircut. I still want the modern look Guy in DCUC, rather than the old one.

Are they finally out? EDIT: Woo! Apparently so. Front page of thefwoosh.com ! EDIT 2: Huh. They gave BL Superman Blue's lightning pieces. Don't remember seeing them on Mattel's promo photos. EDIT 3: Don't think I'm a fan of sparkly Supes. Guess I'll finally be opening the regular one I bought 4 months ago. Aaand EDIT 4: Nevermind on BL. The bolts aren't there in the pacakaged pic. Guess he just stuck 'em on there. Not that you'll listen, but he's an alien GL who's been around for a long time in the comics -- nearly 30 years. He's had a considerable amount of character development. He's in a high-level position in the Corps these days. And, AFAIK, he's the only non-humanoid GL figure made to date, beyond things like those non-articulated figurine sets. I know I was itching to have a figure of him for a long time, and snapped him up as soon as he was released. Now gimme a Chaselon, Larvox, and Gallius Zed!
I was quite surprised today when one of the local Targets had restocked and had about 25-30 DCUC figures on the shelf. Quite happy to finally find Parademon (Red), Dr. Fate, and Hawkgirl. Of course, Gentleman's Ghost remains...a figment of my imagination. Otherwise, they had a crap-ton of Wave 9.
That reminds me: immediately after saying I'd never seen wave 8 in stores or wave 9 outside of Meijer, the nearest TRU and Target had restocked. Both had quite a bit of wave 9, but only Vigilante from wave 8.
The Vigilante sighting was due to the weird Wave 9 assortment that included only Vigilante from Wave 8. Weird, I know. I've seen that a few times as well. Oh, and Target still had the $8 sale on DCUC. For three Wave 8 figures for $24 plus tax. Yay!
