Just bought a Black Catwoman off ebay for $35 plus shipping. I really like the Purple, but I wanted the comic accurate look. The purple can be her as a Super-villain now.

    Austin update:

I hit the following and came up empty:

    - Target (Arboretum, Lakeline, 620/2222, Lakeway)
    - Wal-Mart (Lakeline, 620/2222)
    - Toys R Us (Lakeline)
    - Wonko's Toys & Games

I think I'm done looking for at least a week or two.

Honestly, and maybe I should say this in the Texas Sightings thread. I know this store had some issues with Chad, not always being opened and what not. But the new owner has let this place go down hill, unless you are all about TCG. I don't think he genuinely cares are anything that deals with the Figure side. Unless he really has to. It will be amazing if he does any more DCU figs, or anything for that matter, unless his arm is twisted. I say your better bet is Austin Books and comics for DCU stuff. I am picking up the Lantern stuff friday. From what I hear he still has the red and blue, plus sinestro in his corps outfit.

Austin Books does DCU? They have every DC Direct figure in the world, but I don't remember ever seeing DCU in there. I figured they didn't bother b/c they'd sell a complete set/wave, but be stuck with an ever increasing pile of leftovers that they couldn't move.

This is what I believed before Power Girl, but if they can release PG at retail in a Walmart-exclusive wave, then there is no reason they could not have done Starfire correctly, especially considering she was exclusive to their online store.

Austin Books has never had DCUC. I've been going there for years and I've never seen one single figure there. The only comic shop I've seen DCUC at is Tribe Comics down on Manchaca. I bought a collared Booster Gold there over the summer for $17. Not too bad, considering I never saw the figure on a peg anywhere and I would have paid at least that much online with shipping and everything. I know they had Black Canary and Guardian the last time I was there. I'm tempted to go back and pick them up.

Wonko's has never had anything I was remotely interested in, I was just hoping to go home with at least one wave 9 figure today so I took a shot. Wonko's is definitely all about the TCG now, but one of the shelves by the entrance is quite full of DCUC. Just not anything I don't already have.

You have a very good point. Maybe they'll release a better version of her somewhere down the line. Didn't she have an even skimpier costume at some point in the 90s? If they can do Aquaman in his blue camo gear, maybe they'll do Starfire in another outfit.

Really? Well, shit. What are those figures then? Eitherway, they are still awsome. And that Sinestro is still mine for the grabs :D

Hey are the Unmasked Terry's rare? A toy store just opened at my local mall, they had like 10 of them. I never seen them before retail.

you are correct, I just got back from the store. that is what the Sinestro figure is, from Green Lantern line. Far be it from me to not admit when I was wrong.

They're really good figures. I like how the green parts of the Green Lantern costume are kind of shiny and that Sinestro Corps Sinestro is really wicked looking.
