Bane- Not bad! Azbats- Meh. In my mind, that's just a placeholder until the REAL Azrael figure comes out in a few months.
I have always liked the Costume of Azrael Bats. Its just real Evil Looking. I have all the comics of The Breaking of the Bat and the first few of the entering of Azrael Batman but after that I quit collecting comics and was turned off by not seeing the real Batman for a while so I just stopped collecting comics. But again I really like the Azrael Suite and have been waiting a good 10 or more years for a nice Azrael Figure and Bane too boot. What figure is this you speak of????????
I dont think he looks all that great his face mask looks funny its real flat in the Mouth area and the colors look funny. But whatever make us happy.
I may be spoiled by Marvel Legends but since these figures don't have articulated fingers I'll pass on them.
I actually like the Dc Direct mold better, but I like the gold on the other one better. I also actually might try to get one of them. I do like the costume even though I'm one who think Batman can't be anyone else beside Bruce wayne. I also never like the Spiderman type mask on Batman Beyond, but it works for that.
ken, thats not the new azrael coming out. Thats the old one from 98(a TRU exclusive line). The new one is comic azrael(not the batsuit one), with red and gold, and from mattel, super articulated, sculpted by the 4 horsemen, coming out spring/sumer this year. It was shown@SDCC. Its part of the DC superheroes line.
Ahhhh...AzBat...he and 80s/90s Cyclops could get together and have a "Who Has More Pouches?" competition. The costume was an interesting novelty in the Bat-verse (kinda like the Iron Spider costume that Spidey is currently sporting), don't know if I'd want him on my shelf, though. Azrael might be worthy though...I'll have to wait and see it in the plastic. Oh, and could Bane could look more Mucha Lucha?
